I’m Robin, an aspiring English teacher with dreams of teaching in Germany! To achieve this, I’m on a mission to immerse myself in new cultures, connect with wonderful people, and level up my English fluency. 🌍✍️
But do not worry. I have come far along already, so I just need to get comfortable by putting myself in situations where I am forced to speak it.

When I’m not practicing my English or soaking up the beauty of a new place, you’ll find me diving into board games or shuffling through a deck of cards – I love games that spark connection and a good laugh. But don’t let my love for strategy and fun fool you – I’m equally passionate about deep conversations, especially about movies, books, and all things pop culture. 🎬📚
You might catch me working on something creative in my free time.

I’m not just here to learn, though. I’m hardworking, curious, and ready to roll up my sleeves to help out with whatever you need – even if it’s something I’ve never done before. If I don’t get it right on the first try, I’ll keep at it until I do! Being tenacious is a virtue in that regard.

I’m fascinated by the harmony of nature and history. When time allows, I will definitely use my travels to explore peaceful landscapes or historic landmarks. And even if not, a serene atmosphere is not lost on me.
Whether I’m helping with a project, sharing stories, or exploring your hometown's hidden gems, I’m eager to contribute and grow while being part of your community.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I’m a creative and people-oriented person who loves connecting with others, even if communicating in a second language can be a little challenging at times. My curiosity and willingness to learn help me bridge any gaps, though! 😊

Over the last few years, I worked on numerous hands-on projects with my father. From building an alpaca stable to putting up fences, I’ve gained a little bit of experience with woodwork and even painting small wooden objects for my board game group. While I wouldn’t call myself a tool master (mostly because nobody taught me these things in my youth), I’m quick to learn and have a perfectionist streak that helps me get the details just right.

Cooking holds a special place in my heart. My love for it blossomed when I started cooking alongside my grandmother, creating cherished memories before her passing. Since then, I’ve been passionate about experimenting in the kitchen, and I’d love the challenge of tackling complex dishes or learning your family recipes. 🍳❤️

Gardening is another area where I find joy and fulfillment. Tending to flowers, bushes, and trees feels like nurturing life itself, and there’s nothing quite as satisfying as seeing a garden bloom after patient care.

And yes, I’m happy to roll up my sleeves and get into cleaning mode! Whether it’s scrubbing floors, dusting, or tidying up, I find it calming and rewarding to make spaces shine.

I love playing TTRPGs, so if that is something you enjoy, I would love to play with and perhaps even host for you.
Otherwise, I am an avid enjoyer of anything board game-related. The more complex, the better it is.

I can also edit images, cut movies and animate a bit. Probably not something you need help with, but if there is a project you always wanted to try out, be sure to let me know.
We would just require a computer potent enough for rendering.

Good movies and series are sacred to me. The art of storytelling is mankind's oldest joy, since before even campfires were invented. So if you need me for any creative writing, I would love to contribute my thoughts.
