We stayed with Shunyam for a week, the place was beautiful and they have an amazing community there. Shunyam invited us to some of the social events and we really enjoyed helping upgrade her beautiful garden. amazing place with kind people.

Observing her way of life, sharing evening bonfires while discussing topics like extraterrestrials, and receiving heartfelt gratitude for our work made our stay exceptionally pleasant and enriching. Not to mention the breathtaking night sky filled with stars and the ocean just a short 5-minute walk away. Ivana initially came for 3 days but stayed for 10. I really enjoyed her and find her trustworthy, reliable, clean and tidy and she definitely worked her required hours. We stayed with Shunyam over Christmas for 10 days and had the most incredible time. Her energy, her active and holistic way of life, her beautiful garden, and her home (and more) are so inspiring. We helped seal her balcony and lay out some new tiles, which was great to have a project to work towards and complete while we were there.

… read more having built her house from scratch shared how it should be done and was very patient. We were nourished with three delicious meals a day, based on what she thought suited our blood types best. She was so generous with her knowledge as an experienced naturopath and permaculture guru.

I had a great time with Shunyam staying in an idyllic part of the world, gardening and eating delicious organic home grown food. Shuyam has a wealth of knowledge. We had great conversations and debates. I have gone home inspired to grow my own food and definitely more curious to explore off grid living in the future!

I stayed two times for one week each at Shunyam's place and i wish i had could stay longer because it was such a great moment of my trip in Australia !
Her place is just like paradise, she grows all the fruits and vegetables you can imagine and i was so lucky to eat sapotes, cherries, plums and mangos directly from the trees and so yummy veggies

The work was fine, i did lots of weeding, mulching, watering, planting, feeding the chooks and also helped with the starting of the aquaponics, filling the beds with clay pebbles and planting vegetables
I had a nice room in a little cabin in the garden and it was so great to be awake by birds songs and ocean sounds in the morning
The beach is just a 5 minutes walk and it's the nicest and wildest beach i have seen during my trip

I stayed two weeks with shunyam and I really enjoyed it. The work was not so hard and I always had the choice, where to work.
