Hey there friend!

I am Regan and I am currently traveling around the world and hope to complete a full year abroad. This is my first major trip and I have been traveling since February.

I started my travels in New Zealand, where I did 3 workaways with one of my friends under our shared account, we decided we wanted to split up so I am now created my own account so I can experience workaway on my own. My first experiences in New Zealand were so much fun, that I am looking forward to seeing what other connections I can make.

I have been traveling throughout Asia for the past months, and have really enjoyed seeing the world and experiencing a different way of life and living.

I enjoy outdoor activities and have my scuba certification which I have been making good use of during my travels, and I hope to continue my underwater exploration. I love learning new things and have enjoyed learning about new cultures more than I can express, and look forward to learning more as I continue my travels. I have also picked up new skills along the way, and I cannot wait to pick up more skills as I continue my travels.

Growing up in the USA I was raised in a family that was always outside working, I am not afraid of hard work and getting my hands dirty. From a young age, I was always helping out and it's something that I grew to love and enjoy. And through my experiences so far that love has only grown! I love being able to say that I accomplished something, especially when my hands are the ones that did it!

I love getting to know new people and love sharing stories! I'm excited to continue my work exchange experiences as I have nothing but amazing things to stay about the opportunities I have been granted.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have worked in customer service for over 10 years, specifically specializing in face-to-face interactions. I started out working in child care at my church nursery in my community and continue my customer service skills from there. For the past 6 years, I work in restoration construction, insuring people felt comfortable after suffering a huge loss to either their families or their belongings. While also gaining some hands-on experience in the trade.

Through those years, I have found a love for working with my hands experiencing the joy of refinishing furniture and building pieces that last!

I love animals and this is the first time in my life I do not have a furry family in my life consistently (which has been the strangest part of my travels). I have spent years working as a pet sitter and inside a vet clinic, giving my love freely to all animals whether they need it or not!

I love plants and growing things, gardens are a passion of my whole family! My mom and dad send me constant updates of what they have in their garden!

I have found I am a quick learner and can pick up on things very easily if given instruction!

I have a degree in both management and marketing and a minor in psychology. yay.

I am Advanced Open Water PADI Certified scuba diver - I have dove In Mexico, South Florida, The Great Barrier Reef, off Jeju Island, shore diving in Japan, and off the coasts of Bali and in the Gulf of Thailand! And cannot wait to continue diving as I travel -- if it's warm enough (:

I love to read, you will always find me with either an audiobook or my Kindle. I love playing board games, doing yoga, hiking, and just learning new and fun things.

I love sharing my stories about travel and listening to stories that you may have! Being a reader, stories are some of my favorite ways of connecting with people.
