Hi!
We are Raluca and Dorin, two travelers at the beginning of our journey. For 8 months, we worked on converting a van into a motorhome—a challenging but incredibly rewarding project.
We lived in Romania's capital, Bucharest, for 10-15 years, but after getting married, we decided to dedicate a few years to traveling and living in our campervan, away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
We are lovers of a simple life. We enjoy spending time in nature, hiking, cycling, and kayaking. Recently, I (Raluca) started working with plants, learning more about herbalism, and making creams from natural ingredients. I also love baking sourdough bread, and we both enjoy cooking outdoors.
Both of us have been actively involved in volunteer projects. I (Raluca) started volunteering in 2008 during my school years, joining a youth organization in Romania. This experience helped me develop skills in leadership, coordination, facilitation, and training teenagers. Dorin has also contributed to various initiatives, including renovation projects, organizing sports competitions, compost and engaging in social work.
Through our vanlife journey, we aim to meet amazing people, learn from them, help them, get inspired, and connect more deeply with nature. We hope to learn as much as possible about gardening, permaculture, local cuisine, eco-friendly building, plants, social education, social tourism, woodworking, and other local crafts.
We like to think of ourselves as people full of life, hardworking, perseverant, willing to see the good around us. We’re excited to meet new people and can’t wait to connect with them through this platform.

Quais são suas habilidades?
After converting the campervan, Dorin acquired many technical skills: electrical work, plumbing, painting, and design. Additionally, he is an excellent driver, capable of handling cars, vans, motorcycles and forklifts. He likes cooking, preparing delicious meals for family and friends. Dorin is an excellent communicator, a skilled mediator, and someone who always lends a hand when needed. He is an organized person with great attention to detail, ensuring everything is done as best as possible. He handles critical situations very well, calmly resolving any challenge that arises. He is also a Mavic Mini 4 Pro drone pilot.
Raluca, on the other hand, is a social educator who has worked in several non-governmental organizations in Romania. She has facilitated non-formal education workshops in areas such as human rights, environmental education, and social education. She is skilled in teaching, facilitating, training sessions, organizing, and coordinating teams and projects. Additionally, she knows how to bake sourdough bread, make natural creams, create pressed plant artwork, and has beginner skills in embroidery and other arts & crafts or DIY projesct. Is good in social media, and knows some video and photo editing. She is a curious, empathetic person who is eager to help and continuously learn new things.
