Hello everyone:)
I am Pascal, a German student currently studying Multilingualism (a master's degree in linguistics) in Konstanz until September 2024. Starting from October 2024, I am looking for opportunites to live and work in countries I am interested in. The earliest start date I can offer is in the beginning of October 2024 and I usually stay up to 3 months. Within that time space I am quite flexible, however, I would like to stay for at least two months. I want to use this time to gain experience and learn new skills. I am a very nature-loving person and display a keen desire to learn and grow abroad which is why I consider the Workaway program to be the perfect opportunity after my graduation. I have lived abroad 3 times already (namely in the Czech Republic, France and Iceland). I enjoy outdoor activities, especially hiking.
Concerning farm work, the most mentionable tasks I did to date are chopping wood, mowing the lawn, sawing with a handsaw and circular saw, harvesting vegetables and fruits, watering flowers, cutting branches from trees and taking the dog for a walk. My family had a dog and a cat ever since I was 4, so I feel very comfortable around dogs and cats. At home, we also used to have rabbits.
I consider myself an internationalist which is why I study a master called "Multilingualism" and speak 8 languages and am thus always looking forward to spending time abroad and familiarize myself with other cultures.
To describe me briefly: my main interests (things I deal with on a regular basis) include daily foreign language learning, reading books (especially about psychology), living an extremely healthy life (I never consumed any drugs and never will) and associated with this spending a lot of time in the nature. I am a passionate hiker, often with a dog by my side.

As a polyglot, I am happy to teach every Ianguage I know and am willing to learn the language of the host country I choose. It is not by chance I studied a master called "MA Multilingualism". I learn foreign languages daily and they were always my most valuable asset abroad.

Quais são suas habilidades?

As a polyglot, my specialty is displaying my multilingual abilities. I am happy to teach and speak every language I know with my host(s).
Although I'm only 23, I am an experienced driver and have driven in 5 different countries and many regions already. While working as a caregiver in Iceland, being a driver was an essential task I had to fulfill.
I had a dog and a cat around me ever since I was 4, but I think I can handle pretty much all pets. Moreover, while working on a farm, I fed ducks, chicken and fish.
I have 2 younger brothers (10 and 11 years old respectively) and enjoy spending time with them. I think of myself as a solid babysitter, especially if children like to play cards, board games or if they like spending time in the nature with me. Electronic activities (e.g. watching a movie) are just exceptional cases. I can also assist children with their homework for school, if necessary (especially when it comes to foreign language learning).
When it comes to cooking, I usually prefer a simple approach, like cooking pasta or mashed potatoes. Concerning food, I am a guy with very simple needs, even though I am vegetarian. However, I am willing to learn how to cook more dishes and if I am shown a basic recipe, I am confident I can cook the dishes you request.
I have lived abroad a lot over the past few years which shaped me personally.
Concerning garden and housework, the most mentionable tasks I did to date are chopping wood, mowing the lawn, sawing with a handsaw and circular saw, harvesting vegetables and fruits, watering flowers and cutting branches from trees. Of course, I am also familiar with cleaning apartments, usually by using a vacuum cleaner or a broom.

I am open for all kinds of board games, but I particularly enjoy those that include topography, languages or flags (short, an international or cultural dimension).
I am an avid trader at the stock market and invested a lot of time, money and effort in order to learn professional investment strategies. It is not something I brag about, it simply is my way of battling inflation. I am happy to discuss stock market topics with anyone who is interested in finances, but I won't bother anyone who is not interested in it.
My favourite kind of conversation is one-on-one because in my experience this is the framework that enables the deepest exchange. However, I don't mind group talk, especially in international contexts. I just noticed that I tend to value one-on-one more than most, especially at the university.
Despite my young age, I am an experienced traveller and I am always happy to share experiences I have gathered while travelling and to give advice in general.
I am interested in different sports. My favourite sport is table tennis.
