Hi everyone :)))
My name is Pil and I am 26 years old. I love doing WorkAway because this way of helping out one another makes me feel so deeply connected to humans and the world. I have had some WorkAway experiences already, which have made me even more excited to continue on this beautiful path.
I am studying to become a psychologist, but I am taking a break from my studies, as I am exploring other ways of being in the world. At the moment I am enjoying making cocktails and cups of coffee for people :))
I have many deep interests: compassion-work, pottery, climbing, woodwork, drawing and many more. Recently I have been very interested in meditation and try to regularly practice Metta Bhavana. I am seeking to keep connecting with people, nature and myself, as I find connection the most valuable thing in my life - hopefully this could be shared with some of you!

Quais são suas habilidades?
On my other WorkAway experiences I have helped out at hostels, camping-sites and with creative projects. These have all been wonderful, and I have thrived in learning all sorts of tasks. I am not afraid to put my all into something, and give it my full effort :)) Additionally, I have a lot of experience with service and hospitality as I am working as a barista and a bartender currently.
On a little more abstract note, I have previously had a lot of other volunteer experiences, so being around vulnerable people and helping out, gently and respectfully is something I take great pride in. As a part of my volunteer work I have for example taught sexual health classes to teenagers, assisted vulnerable families engaging with fun hobbies and done narrative counseling. -
