Hey lovely hosts and fellow Workawayers, I’m Pia (32) from Germany — nice to meet you!
A friend of mine came up with the idea of going on a Work and Travel adventure, and since I love discovering new places and meeting new people, I thought: why not join her and take a little break from everyday life?
In my free time, I’m a pretty creative and active person. I love doing arts and crafts, bouldering and climbing (indoors and outdoors), going on bike tours, or stand-up paddling whenever I get the chance. When it’s time to slow down, you’ll most likely find me reading or knitting with a good cup of tea by my side. ☕
I’m really looking forward to meeting new people, learning new skills, and sharing some great moments along the way!

Quais são suas habilidades?
Back home, I work as a social worker, so I’m used to connecting with people and communicating well. I have experience supporting both adults and children with mental health challenges, and I’ve also spent several years babysitting and working in a kindergarten as a childcare assistant. I enjoy planning activities and organizing things — but I’m also flexible and don’t mind changing plans when needed. I love spending time outdoors, taking care of plants, and doing creative DIY projects. I’m always curious to learn new things, meet new people, and try out different ways of living.
