Hi! My name is Philip currently living on the Isle of Wight, a beautiful small island in the UK. Me and my girlfriend Jenna are soon to embark on a journey to Latin America! This is the first time Workawaying officially, however travelling has always been a passion of ours that brings us happiness, as well as meeting inspirational people, learning new skills, and always trying to make a positive impact.

I am currently working in the construction industry although still fairly new to the sector, so this is the area of work I feel I could most help with, however am always keen to try anything.

Jenna is a full time practicing midwife, who also is highly practical, well versed in the handling of horses, and also keen to get stuck in with pretty much anything!

We are both friendly and like to find humor in the small things, equally enjoy working hard and relaxing with a beer!

We have both just started learning basic Spanish online, but are complete amateurs and both very keen to improve our Spanish :) Not teachers ourselves but happy to try and teach English if needed!

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have worked in a various roles in the past after graduating university, mainly in sales positions, so I well experienced in organization and management. However I decided to leave this area behind around early 2020 and pursue a career in construction and I now work as a carpenters apprentice which I love and hope to one day become a qualified carpenter myself, and more specifically develop skills in building with natural resources.

My girlfriend Jenna is a highly experienced senior midwife who is very passionate about her job and will be volunteering in Guatemala in a women's birthing hospital. However she also has experience working in customer facing roles and is extremely good with people! Also is very hands on and practical and likes to get stuck in to anything really!
