ABOUT ME
I am an 81 years old creative, active and social woman. I am still working as a language teacher for students from all over the world. My interests – besides teaching – are gardening, herbs, architecture, cooking and baking. My cakes are «famous»! 😊 I like to make high quality produce from my garden and the surrounding nature like herbal spice and oils, jams, teas etc. Nam, nam!
THE BEACH HOUSE
The beach house lies by the sea, at the Island of Kvaløya, close to Tromsø, in a bird sanctuary. It has all modern facilities and tons of charm. It is a place to be close to nature and a place to celebrate life – as well as a place of peace and serenity.
I would like to invite you into my life and my family.
TIME
From late May until October. I am looking for couples or singles. I am sooo thrilled looking forward to meet my new guests from all over the world!
From October/November month, I close the beachhouse, using my town flat.
Living in the Artic means - cold, lots of snow and months with no sun. The contrasts of Life! And very beautiful. Thank you from Marit in Tromsø 🥰🥰🥰 -

You will learn a lot about organic, arctic gardening and about living above the Arctic Circle - food, culture - and if you want -Norwegian language and history. The beach house has been in my family since 1944. Meeting people from all over the world and getting to know them, has been important to me all my life.

Ajuda
I would like to get help to continue to improve the quality of the dirt where I grow my vegetables, herbs and berries. That means among other things to make the fences around my flower/herb beds higher and to mix the dirt with seaweed, horse muck etc. I also make Hygelbeds, which extend the Arctic growing season with many weeks. The last year I also have renovated rooms and upgraded.
My place looks more and more fantastic! Other projects could be painting and organizing and/or having other small projects at my city flat. The tasks will be varied. -

The house has all modern facilities. We will make food together. I also teach cooking. Sometimes you can stay with me in my flat in Tromsø - there also in your own room. -

I will show you Tromsø which is an interesting, arctic town with a lot of history. Some of this history, is my family's history. There is also easy access to nature - bicycling, rowing, fishing, birdwatching, elk-watching etc. The mountains around the city and nature itself is fantastic! There is bus connection to Tromsø.
