Hi :)

I am Paula from Germany. In Germany I studie social work and love to do yoga or other kind of sports. I am an active person and I love to be outside and in nature.
My love to nature and travelling is the reason why I decided to go to south / central america for 6 month (that is the plan).
I am looking forward to get to know some countries, their people and different ways of living in the different areas. I'd love to learn more about the cultures and I also have a big political interest. I think a great way to learn about this is to get active and get in contact with people.
Also I am looking forward to get physically active. In germany I work as a social worker, mostly at a desk, so it will be great to do some physical work and be able to see a result after a successful day of work (and of course have fun:)).
Workaway also gives me the opportunity to support others. This is great, because it feels like I can give something back to the community I live in. For me this is very important and one of the reasons why I dont want to travel from tourist hotspot to another.
From my description you can see, I am an active and open minded person. I love to be with people and have fun, but sometimes I need quitness and space for myself. In this moments I love to be in nature!

Quais são suas habilidades?

I at a very reliable person and would describe myself as very social and empathetic. I study social work and work in Germany in the field of psychosocial care. I also trained as a nurse, where I learned to take a lot of responsibility.
In addition to these social skills, I also have manual skills. In school I learned to work with wood and with clay. We also had a school garden. After school I worked for a year on a farm in South Africa, as well as taking care of people with disabilities.
I am a very curious and open person. I also see these things as skills that make up my work.

I can add some of my hobbys: I love music and dancing aswell as sports, like kickboxing and fitness. Also I do a lot of yoga. In Germany I do "normal" yoga, mostly vinyasa or yin yoga, aswell as acro yoga and aerial yoga.
