Hello dear potential hosts!

My name is Paul, I am a French engineering student in the aerospace sector which I love. I am really excited to create this account as workaway is not a kind of experience I am used to, and I find particularly rewarding to get out of my comfort zone! I love expanding my horizons. My school is near Paris, I have achieved 4 years out of 5 so far there, and I took the opportunity to do a gap year before the end of my studies to realize an internship in the south of France (which I am just ending this week). I have 2 months left before the end of my gap year, and I would love to seize the opportunity to go abroad, discovering a new country, meeting new people!

Now if I may, here are a few information about me: I am an outgoing person, I love to get to know people and places, I believe each and every story is what makes humanity rich. On a day-to-day basis I am pretty calm and focus, and mostly, I love to learn. I have been learning how to cook good and healthy meals by myself, how to work on mechanic or electronic, I love online documentaries, and I am currently learning Danish as I have some family there and also love the country. Oh language-wise, I am fluent in English, French is my mother tongue, I have some basis in Spanish (I would guess B2), and I am really bad at Danish so far haha

In parallel to learning, I also particularly enjoy manual work, which I find really relaxing for the mind. I also have a motorcycle and enjoy going on a trip from time to time, I love biking, listening to music, I have practiced tennis and boxing a little bit, and I have a telescope and often look at the night sky.

I come from a big family, with six brothers and sisters in total, I am the fifth out seven (and 2 dogs!). I have nieces and nephews from my oldest siblings whom I love dearly and cannot get enough time with.

Regarding manual work, I have got to thank my parents, who raised us in the deep countryside of France. There was always something to do, for instance gardening, taking care of a few farm animals that we had, renovating parts of the house, helping associations in the village... Paradoxically we were never bored. Many of my siblings and I have left the household for the studies, but I make a point to come back and visit at least twice a month.


Well, here is pretty much a summary of who I am, anyway I am determined to be as helpful as possible with whatever task or endeavour could be of help!! I think I would only require a place to sleep, as personally I do not have a camping or tent.

So I know basic gardening, some house renovations (house chores obviously too), I am learning to cook nice meals, I know my way around kids, I can do some pretty physical work, but can also learn fast for any other thing you could need a hand with
