Hello there!

I’m a 23‑year‑old from Germany who loves hiking, volleyball, yoga and the occasional craft project—or just hanging out outside with music on my ears. Sometimes, when the nights are long, I also enjoy hanging around a good fireplace with my book and a herbal tea on the side. :)
After some researches within the last weeks I am eager to learn more about Finland and to finally see the countrys beauty in person. Therefore, I’m planning to be in Finland from late October until mid‑February before heading home to start my Master’s degree in March 2026.

I’d be thrilled to stay with a friendly family for 2–3 weeks at a time, help out around the house as well as with kids and animals, get to know the locals and pick up some basic Finnish.

I can’t wait to meet you there! :)

I would love to learn Finnish - at least some basics and would be happy to help you or your children with English homework or even German. If your child is at the beginning of learning Spanish, I could also help him or her out.

Quais são suas habilidades?

You can count on me with:
- taking care of pets / animals (I work at an animal sanctuary voluntarily at times after work)
- taking care of children (I am a big sister myself and took care of my sister, when she was a kid as well as of my younger cousins, who are in elementary school now; I also used to give tuition classes for about 3 years in my graduation years and first year of studying)
- helping with tasks at home (cooking, cleaning, having an "eye for what needs to be done" and else - I moved out at the age of 18 and live in my own apartment since then. So household tasks are not unfamiliar to me)
- helping with other tasks, if you take your time to teach me - I am open to learn something new (that is, what my stay is also for), eventhough I might not be the best builder - I know how to built up little furnitures, how to paint walls and helped with cutting woods, but don't expect an expert constructor

I like playing cards, when the social sphere around me is nice. :) If you have some new card or board games to play at the evenings, you can count on me as well.
Furthermore, I would love to get to know the nature of Finnland. If you have a favourite nature spot to stay, I am glad if you let me know or even accompany me on some exploration walks.
