Hi, I’m Olivia! I‘m from New York City and am a recent college graduate! I am currently taking a break from my time in NYC and am looking to explore and try something new. I did Workaway a couple times back in 2019 and 2020 and am eager to hop back on and try out a new adventure. I’m open to different kinds of work, am eager for a cultural exchange, and feel ready to take on this next experience, whatever it may be!

Quais são suas habilidades?

I love to learn and acquire new skills. I have 10+ years of experience caring for children, have worked in a restaurant, a retail store, and was a residential assistant at my college. Back home in Nee England, I worked in a kitchen and on an organic farm doing all sorts of tasks from harvesting to washing and planting. I found this job through Workaway and loved it! I learned so many new things and met so many amazing people doing so. All of these experiences have helped me grow and mature and have been amazing learning opportunities. I love to try new things, and am always up for a challenge! I consider myself a very caring and compassionate person with a sense of humor! I'm a hard-worker, and like to be of help wherever I can.

My passions include photography and story-telling. I recently finished up studying visual arts at the communication school at my university. Some groups I was involved with on campus were residential life, the school's radio station, the women's club volleyball team, and an organization for filmmakers. I also wrote for the school's magazine and worked as a barista at our library. Some of my current hobbies include gardening, traveling, and candle making! Since graduating, I have been working as a production assistant on movie/TV sets in both NYC and Boston, MA. I enjoy the fast-paced, community-heavy environment of the job and have learned a lot about the movie-making industry as a result. All in all, I have a lot of different interests, and am excited to live new experiences and build connections!
