Descrição

We are Noëlle and Sergio, from the Netherlands and Spain. We met on a volcano in Guatemala and since then have been exploring the world together.

We both found passion within helping people and making the world a better place, step by step.

Our friends would describe us as easygoing, open, energetic but at the same time down to earth with an interest in spirituality. We are both very caring and value connection.

Our happiness: good food, yoga, nature activities (hiking, cycling, walking), diving, exploring countries, getting to know other cultures, spending time with friends and family as well as making new connections and enjoying the little things in life.

We are both the biggest plant and animal lovers and would easily stop on the middle of the road to save a bee or frog (yes this happens). Our photo album consists of beautiful flowers/plants or animals we come across.

To recharge our battery we love to spend time alone, do yoga/meditate, read, write and go out into nature.

We are always curious to try out new things, food and meet new people. We have a hands on mentality and can't wait to meet you!

We both have various experiences over the years, in hospitality, personal trainer, carpentry, garden work, healthcare, house sitting, work in the amazone, guiding and yoga teacher. Both of us lived and worked in various countries, from the Netherlands, Engeland, Scotland, Spain and Guatemala. We easily adapt to circumstances and stituations and are very open minded.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have studied Hotel Management in Maastricht and specialised in the food industry. While studying I completed 3 internships, in Madrid for six months where I learned Spanish and even after 4 years I'm still in contact with the people I met there. I also did two internships in the Netherlands, one at the Red Cross organisation and one at Voeding Leeft (healthcare organisation whom develops lifestyle programs for people with chronic diseases).

Before my studies I worked as an au pair in England for 4 months with 4-year old twins. I really enjoyed my time here and get the opportunity to improve my English.

My interests and skills are very diverse. My dad works as a gardener and to be honest this is my favourite kind of work, to work outside with your hands. I work with my dad quite often and I know how to use a brushcutter (to the surprise of some of my male friends).

From a young age I learned to work with your heart, hands and head all together.

I am skilled in anything to do with the hospitality business, front office, housekeeping, bakery bar and restaurant. I currently work (online) as an program coordinator at a Health organisation and I am really structured, organised and can deal well with stressful situations.
I have experience working in construction and working with animals or in the gardens.

I am open to learn anything and I am very flexible and adapt easily to different places, people or situations.

The majority of 2024 I was in Guatemala, volunteering, connecting and travelling. I did volunteer work twice at a farm, an ecofarm to work with the Mayan ways and for 2 months with Sergio taking care of the animals and the land.

Another volunteer work I did was working in reception/bar/restaurant and also working as a yoga teacher in a hotel in the mountains.
