Hi,
My name is Nicklas, and I'm a 20-year-old Dane. I'm currently in my second gap year and have decided to go on a backpacking trip to Australia, as it has always been a big dream of mine.

I'm very passionate about connecting with people, sharing experiences, and immersing myself in new environments, as it brings me great joy and makes me appreciate the world we live in even more. I’m eager to learn, grow, and challenge myself in new ways, while also looking to exchange skills, build connections, and contribute wherever I can.

I like being active and using my body, especially when I'm exploring nature, but I equally enjoy reading a book, studying, and other mental activities.

I’m open-minded and easy-going, always keen to learn and leave a good impression.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have a broad knowledge of IT, programming, and electronics, mostly because it's my passion, but also because I went to a technically oriented high school.

I also have hands-on experience working with hardware tools. I've been a firefighter for about a year now, where I've used most power tools, in addition to working as a hardware store assistant at age 16.

I’m practically minded and enjoy fixing things around the house when necessary, having done plenty of general maintenance, gardening, organizing, and cleaning.

In my spare time, I have spent about 3 years coaching basketball to children between the age of 9 and 15.

I have category B & C drivers licenses (corresponding to C & HR in Australia)

But most importantly I'm hardworking, a quick learner and always ready to pitch in wherever needed and take on new challenges!

One of my main hobbies is Formula 1, and I hope to one day become an engineer for a team, as maths and physics are two of my main interests.
I also like staying active, playing basketball, spending quality time with friends, and getting lost in a good book.

Other than that, I have always been fascinated by nature, both present and past, with its magnificent creatures and landscapes. It truly is a wonderful and unique world we live in. My eagerness to explore and help preserve it is one of the main reasons I find Australia so alluring.
