Hi!
I'm Nico and I'm 31 years old. I travel with my girlfriend Coco (31) with whom I share 10 years of life as a couple! We started a world tour in November 2019 but it was sadly stopped in April 2020 due to COVID. Now, we are back on track, following the same itinerary as before!

We are open-minded, respectful, hard workers, and interested in almost everything.

Together, we share a lot of experiences and skills that you may find interesting:

Nico: I started my career at age 16 working (apprenticeship) for three years in the Hospitality industry. My experiences in this field are various; from receptionist to housekeeper and F&B (it included working as a cook). I then graduated from a Commercial school, went to the US to learn English, and flew back to Switzerland to start a Bachelor's in Hospitality Management which I graduate from in February 2018. I then worked in the watchmaking industry as Hospitality Coordinator and in an airline company as a Marketing and Communication trainee. Since my return from the first part of our world tour in 2020, I worked within the family company which is specialized in producing apples (farm) and transforming them into delicious juices. The smooth conduct and development of this company as been my top priority for the past two years and it is planned that I take back the management upon my return. Otherwise, I am a young entrepreneur who has been and still is, involved in two start-ups respectively in the watchmaking and the food industry.

Coco: I started working at 15, just after finishing school, in an apprenticeship as a florist. It taught me a lot in three years from a creative point of view, also specific to flower & plants aspects to a marketing one. I also have some basic gardening and farming skills learned from my grandparents who lived in the countryside. After that, I spent a month in Berlin to learn german and then went to a Commercial school where I met Nico! I started a second apprenticeship in 2013 in a private bank as a commercial employee, growing into a middle officer position after I finished studying. I had the chance to move to London and spend 2 years there still working within this Swiss private bank as a trading assistant. Since I returned from my first world tour, I worked for 8 months in a district court helping the judge with administrative business. After that, I had the opportunity to become a Hedge Fund Trader back in the same private bank I have worked for before and started my career. It was a challenging 2 years in this position but I am now sure to know how to manage stress! Don't be scared by all the administrative parts of this resume, I still love to go out in the garden, take care of the house, and even love more to take care of animals.

During our past experiences as Helpers (on another platform called HelpX) we did:
- Interior work (cooking, cleaning, housekeeping, etc.)
- Outdoor work (gardening, mowing, pruning, trimming, watering, outdoor furniture maintenance, pool maintenance, snow removal and salting, etc.)
- Construction work (insulation, painting, roofing, tiling, paving, etc.)
- Social work (driving and shopping, animation and event organization, babysitting and pet-sitting, etc.)
- Special work (filling honey jars, preparing nets for shrimp fishing, caring for livestock).

We believe that everything is possible if you put your heart into it :)

Nico:
- CMS and PMS (reservation and management system for hotels)
- National permit to run a hotel or restaurant in Switzerland
- Forklift certified
- Web design (WIX and a bit of WordPress)

Coco:
- FCA-approved person (UK financial regulation)
- Investment Fondation certificate (CFA Institute)
- Real Estate certificate

With our Swiss passports, we can sadly not possess a Working Holiday permit.
