I'd describe myself as an open-minded, sociable, independent, and thoughtful person with good work ethic. I'm always happy to integrate and adapt to a new environment; I'm keen on experiencing different facets of life and getting to know different philosophies. I'm a curious person who genuinly enjoyes learning of all kind.

In my free time, I enjoy exercising a lot. I'm particularly passionate about horse riding, which I used to do regularly for two years (English style). I absolutely love spending time outdoors and I'm generally happy whenever I'm out in nature. I'm interested in bushcrafting, survival skills, bivouacking, plant medicine, hunting, trapping and anything related.

I’m used to switching between different languages, and if you speak either English, French, or German, communication will never be impaired. I’ve lived and gone to school in England at some point in my teens and I’ve worked at a hospital in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. German’s my native tongue. I’ve started to learn Spanish only very recently, but I’m eager to improve. I love people correcting me in any language, because this is how I can move forward and improve

Quais são suas habilidades?

Animal care:
I love working with animals. I grew up keeping a dog, a cat, chickens, and rabbits. I've also worked with horses, donkeys, and cows before and I do horse riding. I have liked helping on farms ever since, which is no different today.

Horses:
I’m coming from a dressage background (English style), but I'm interested in learning about other riding styles and philosophies, too! Especially western style riding and natural horsemanship appeals to me a lot. I was trained at a big stable for a bit over two years. I never owned a horse and I never took part in any competitions, but I’m comfortable with all the basics such as trot, canter, gallop, riding figures, jumping small obstacles, grooming, general horse care, maintenance of the tack etc. I used to do equestrian vaulting for fun, too. I once had a first approach with Western style riding and loved this experience.

Cooking & Houshold:
I like cooking and baking a lot. I'd say I can count it a proper hobby of mine. I can either prepare family meals for you, or if you'd like to teach me new things, I'd be happy to assist and learn.
I feel comfortable doing all common houshold tasks, just let me know what you'd like me to get done for you.

Gardening:
I've got some experience with gardening; mainly around flower beds and smaller veggies, but I'm very keen on learning more about plants and gardening. I have stayed on several farms before, so I got some insight into the commercial side of growing crops, too.

Teaching:
I’ve been working as a tutor for several years. Feel free to approach me if you’d like me to include tutoring your child as one of my chores. I could already gain a lot of experience over the years, mainly with the subjects English, French, German, biology, chemistry, and maths. I have helped both little kids as well as high schoolers in the past.

Child care:
Since the age of fourteen, I've been working as a babysitter regularly. From spending evenings with kids to organising day trips, I've done pretty much everything and worked with babies and children of all ages.

Hospitality:
I used to work as a waitress in various restaurants, hotels, at weddings etc. I have undergone training which taught me all the basics and I have often worked in the high-end sector too. I'd therefore make a good fit for assisting anyone who's working in tourism or hospitlity.

Boats:
I've got some basic knowledge of handling small boats, both rowing and sailing.

Seeing and learning new things are some of my number one priorities in life. I will always prefer slow-travelling and making real human connections over a hasty ticking-off of tourist destinations.

At the age of sixteen, I went on a high school exchange where I lived with a host family on the English country side for seven months.
2022 I greatly enjoyed solo travelling round the USA and Canada for six months.
2023 I backpacked from the Canary Islands up to the Scottish Highlands on my own by ship, train, and bus. I tryed to completely avoid flying on that trip. This way it took me about four months, but allowed me to fully experience every country I crossed on my way.
Later that year, I worked at a hospital in the French-speaking part of my home country, which was great for French language immersion and some nice cultural insights, too.

I'm intending to pursue a career as a dentist. I'm looking forward to my course starting in September 2024, though I find it essential to gain a lot of non-scholar knowledge and skills beforehand, taking the time to invest into persanal growth, spending time in nature etc.
