Kia ora ! After 11 years, it is time for me to go back to the country that started it all : New Zealand ! And this time, I am bringing my boyfriend along ...

I am a french girl from Lyon. I grew up in my beautiful Vercors, and after high school got the amazing opportunity to be an exchange student in New Zealand. I was lucky to experience many things with my high school and my host parents, and fell in love with the country ! After going back to France I went on and did my studies, but I always had New Zealand at the back of my mind. So here I am, my plane lands on the 30th of October in Auckland, and I am looking for a host to enjoy the country again !

About me : I am outdoorsy, and I used to be a keen horse rider. I used to be a helper in New Zealand at RDA, and I even took part of some shows. Unfortunately I don't ride much now because I live in the city, but I would love love love to be around horses in New Zealand as I miss it so much ! I also bike a lot with my boyfriend, and I did a few triathlons ! I am a certified scuba diver as well.

About him : He is sporty and passionate ! He is a triathlete, he loves surfing and if you have a dog, it will have all of his attention ! He is handy, detail oriented (if you have general cleaning work, he won't be finished until it is SPOTLESS !).

We often do trail running or go on overnight hikes (tramps as per NZ terms ?), and we overall like the outdoors.

What I can do for you : The french in me loves cooking, I am quite handy although not a professional, I did a few things in our appartment in Lyon and I am not afraid of light building work. I love animals a lot and if you need a hand with anything related to them, that would be my pleasure !

To sum up, I am looking for a place to stay for a couple of weeks with my boyfriend, somewhere we could be useful while falling in love again with your country !

Expertise : Professionally, I work in a lab, so I have high standards, and can follow strict guidelines. I also worked in many different areas such as hospitality (guest relations agent in Italy), fruit picking, children care (au pair in China) ... I can do some basic building tasks, but I don't know anything about mecanical engines for example. I also love animals and would like to work close to them.
