Hey ! ☀️

My name is Morgane :) I'm a 23years old French who grew up in the south of France (near Toulouse for those who know ahah). Recently qualified as a nurse, I wanted to enjoy some time to travel and make experiences before settling down somewhere.
Sooo I've spent now the 2 last years slow travelling for the major part of my time and I still don't have enough ahah :)

If you want some more details :
I spent the biggest part of 2024 abroad : I first did a solidarity volunteering of 2 months in the south of Portugal : working in 2 associations responsible for preparing food and distributing it to people in precarious/homeless situations.
Following that, I stayed in Portugal for the whole summer season : I did a 3 months workaway at a surf school. It was absolutely great, I worked at the reception with the clients checks in's, attending to their questions and requests - giving informations, and I also gave surf lessons.
And then I've been in Morocco for 2 months, again for a workaway in a surf school ahah :)
These are experiences that I really loved a lot !
2025 meant for me a biggest trip. After working most the year back home, I left in the end of September and I've spent 1 month in Thailand, 1 month in Sri Lanka and I arrived in December in Australia with a working holiday visa
I've stayed as an au pair with 3 adorable kids (8, 5years old ans 18months old) (great experience, I reeeally liked it), and worked in a farm in Tasmania.

Now, I just finished a month and a half of volunteering at a wildlife animal shelter in Victoria which was absolutely incredible, an amazing time ! Beyond taking care of the animals, we did a lot of maintenance work, gardening, cutting wood, ...
I'm now working but the next step is going to be French Polynesia !!
I'll arrive there on the 15th of July until end of September I think. I'm really excited, to discover all of this, to live close to the ocean again, hopefully to discover sailing too ! Feels like a lot of amazing moments are coming

I can teach French without any problem as it is my native language. I'm also fluent in English: it's not absolutely perfect but I can teach the basics, I would in any case like to continue practicing it to improve myself. Also, I understand very well spanish but I need to pratice to talk it. So I would like to specially learn Spanish, but all languages ​​attract me !

Quais são suas habilidades?

To talk more deeply about myself, I think I can say that I am a very open-minded and positive person, full of energy, dynamic and very curious to learn new things.
So I'm open to any type of volunteering :) I'm adapting very well

People say that I'm very helpful, I have always had in me this instinct to take care of others, from where I guess my choice to become a nurse

I really enjoy working in a team, but I can also work independently and appreciate it ! I like to work hard and give 100% to what I do : I'm not one to count the hours. I see a job as something that needs to be done, and I'm committed to doing it well.

My father has a farm, I grew up in the countryside taking care of sheep and so I have some experience in farming and looking after animals. I also have 2 dogs (border collies), whom I love very much. So animals are absolutely not a problem for me, all the contrary ! The experience I had at the shelter has really made me want to take even better care of them :)
This place was really off grid with minimal comfort, but I don't mind : if I really like the project, it's 100% worth it (in other words, I'm not a princess).

As a kid I did a lot of camps every summer and winter, in addition to occasionally taking care of the little ones of my family, so I feel very comfortable with children :) I really loved being an au pair for the 3kids, it could be great to do it again !

I love meeting new people and learning from others, sharing anecdotes, laughing and sharing good times ! I'm an easy going and chill person

I love to take life simply and enjoy the little things, watch the sunrise (which I prefer even more to the sunset), spend quality time with good people, sports (hiking/trekking, swimming, running, surfing, snowboarding, stretching, yoga, ...), laughing, journaling, ...

I'm completely in love with the ocean, I could spend literally entire days swimming, snorkelling, and enjoying it !
I'm feeling close to nature, and respecting it is obvious to me.
I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to learn how to sail and experience living on a boat :) it's something that is on my mind since years but more and more and more recently and I would like to go into it soon :)

I also really enjoy photography and I like especially to paint, even if I appreciate every manual activities

Another thing that I really like is eating and discovering new food, I cook quite a lot for myself but I would like to improve my cooking skills so if you have nice recipes I'm keen to learn with you !
