ABOUT US 🇲🇦🐪🏄♀️🌊
We are a surf school situated in the rural village of Sidi Kaouki, Essaouira. Our main activities are made out of surfing and kitesurfing. We offer lessons and all the material rental needed for the different watersports (surf, kitesurf, stand-up paddling, bodyboard). We also organize surf camps and surf trips. The school is surrounded by the best surf and kitesurf spots in the region. We work in a family spirit and love to share our passion for these sports with everybody, beginners as much as the more experienced ones. An important fact for us is to know the people we meet, to share beautiful moments with our customers, and create unforgettable memories for both of us.

I am Boujemaa and I would be delighted to welcome you to my home. I speak English, Arabic, and French. I have an extra bedroom at home with two separate beds, I can accommodate up to two people at the same time. The duration of the volunteering minimum of 2 weeks/10 Days, but 1 month/4 weeks is preferred. In my house, I have a bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, and a nice rooftop! If you join us you can use the materials of the school, if it’s available! The house is 7 minutes away from the school and the beach! In Kaouki you can do everything walking, you have shops, cheap restaurants and a lot of activities! It’s 25 minutes from Essaouira and the airport, there is cheap taxi to come here from the airport!

In Sidi Kaouki you will be immersed in a picturesque/rural-fishers-surfers village. The small size of the village will help you to meet the people living here and learn about their all-day activities, their culture, and ways of living.
You will have the chance to practice your surf skills whenever you want. And you can take the bus or taxi easily to Essaouira (30min) where you can hang around in the medina, enjoy traditional hammam or just chill in the well known hippie city.

We like to teach our volunteers Arabic and to get more knowledge about the languages they speak.
Acomodação
The workawayer will stay in a room at my place with rooftop, shared kitchen and bathroom, 10min walking from the surf school. U can use everything you want. We love to share dinner in the evening, with you, with friends and people we meet.
We usually share most of our meals together, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. However, there may be times when I am away during lunchtime, and you will need to have your meal separately. To compensate for this, I will provide you with a special allowance to cover your meal expenses. This way, you will have the necessary resources to eat according to your preference during those occasions.

During your free time you will get the opportunity to go surfing, kiteboarding, bodyboarding and do all the beach activities you want. We love to share beautiful moments in the evening like dinners, music sessions, make fire,...
You can reach Essaouira easily by bus or taxi. You can go for a walk and enjoy the sunsets in incredible spots near Sidi Kaouki.
The airport of Essaouira is 20min away driving to Sidi Kaouki. You can reach Essaouira by bus (CTM). The airport of Marrakech is 2h30 away from here.
In every case, we can organize to pick you up somewhere!
