Hello, Hola:)
My name is Monika, I am from Poland. Currently, I live in Warsaw. However, I spent 5 years in Scotland (Edinburgh). Due to the fact that I enjoy spending time in various environments with local people, I have visited various countries for last few years. I graduated from Warsaw University (Special Needs Pedagogy- Bachelor), Edinburgh College (Social Work and IELTS- Academic English) and Teaching English to Young Learners at Warsaw University (Master degree). I used to work as a social worker with teenagers with special educational needs in Scotland. For 5 years I have worked in IB school (Monnet International School in Warsaw) where I am homeroom teacher and I teach bilingual (in English and Polish). I am perceived as creative and calm person. I like my job and working with children gives me satisfaction and puts smile on my face. Of course, I would like to improve some skills and I always try to do some extra training or find more experiences which makes me better teacher and life educator. I have more and more ideas how to expand my knowledge and skills...I am lifelong learner:)
Except that, I have hobbies such as climbing, biking, hiking dancing and cooking.
In my opinion, meeting people from different countries with different background and experiences allows us to understand ourselves, our and others identify and history. I would describe myself as open-minded person who likes to spend time outside surrounded by nature and other people (sometimes alone). As a teacher I believe that seeking more knowledge and experience can fulfill our life. Knowledge gives us broad views of all the affairs of life.
I travel when is possible, what makes me happy, even it is the nearest forest or lake from my hometown.

Since October 2024 I am in Argentina and I would like to stay here until April/ May.

Quais são suas habilidades?

Due to the fact that I studied subjects such us psychology and sociology during my university education, I am able to understand various types of behaviors. Additionally, I am very patient person for who the best solution is solution which does not heart anyone. I am a good listener and I enjoy working in a team. Due to my work background, I am organized person, and I am able to make decisions under pressure. Also, inner strength is my important skill which helps me keeping my life balance.
I like to organize workshops for children and families. Recently I take a part in project for refugees in Poland.

I am good in outdoors activities such as climbing, hiking, cycling and I am always happy to share my knowledge with others. I really like cooking and trying different types of food. I am interested in healthy life style. Hence, I am aware how to maintain good nutrition. I agree...you are what you eat:)
I like animals - so I do not eat them ;)
