Kia ora, I’m Matthew—a musician, surfer, and explorer from New Zealand. I enjoy a simple and economical way of living and am always drawn to new experiences and cultures. Having spent much of my time exploring and traveling across my homeland, I’m now preparing to go abroad by myself for the first time.

I’m eager to immerse myself in creative projects with like-minded people, sharing experiences and laughs along the way. I love climbing, tramping, and have an endless love and respect for the ocean.

Quais são suas habilidades?

Kia ora! I’m Matthew—a keen musician, surfer, rock climber, and woodworker by trade. I love creative projects and always give my whole self to whatever I’m working on. Growing up on a farm in New Zealand gave me a wide range of skills. I can garden among the vegetables, build all sorts of things, or take on just about any maintenance job that comes my way. A strong work ethic was instilled in me from a young age, and it’s something I carry into every part of my life.

I’ve also studied film production at university, where I combined my creativity with technical skills to bring ideas to life. During that time, I had the chance to tutor in various film classes, which helped me grow my communication skills and share my passion for storytelling.

Nature and being in the water are a big part of who I am. Whether I’m surfing, climbing, or just exploring, I love discovering new places, meeting people, and learning about different ways of life.

I am an avid card game player and really enjoy community living. I have a strong desire to understand different cultures and ways of life. Surfing, especially longboarding, is a passion of mine, and I’d love to keep doing it even though I don’t currently have my surfboard. I also love playing games and spending quality social time with others.
