Hello! My name is Mattéo, I’m 21 years old and currently studying anthropology. I’m taking a semester to travel through Europe doing different Workaway experiences because I want to learn, share, and grow.

What motivates me most is the chance to discover new ways of living and to connect with people from different backgrounds. As an anthropology student, it’s essential for me to experience everyday life in diverse environments, and I believe Workaway is the perfect opportunity to do that.

I would love to improve my English while helping hosts with their projects—whether it’s in farming, gardening, cooking, or taking care of the land and animals. I’m curious to learn about local plants, landscapes, and traditions, and I enjoy contributing to sustainable and independent lifestyles.

In my free time, I enjoy playing the guitar, listening to music, hiking, climbing, reading, and watching good movies. Sharing knowledge, stories, and experiences with others brings me real happiness.

I would love to improve my English during my Workaway experiences, as speaking fluently is very important for my anthropology studies. I’m also happy to share my native language, French, with anyone interested. For me, language exchange is a great way to learn about both culture and people.

I can help with gardening, cooking, cleaning, and general house tasks. I also enjoy taking care of animals, especially dogs, and I’m happy to help with daily walks or care. I’m used to physical work, open to learning new skills, and motivated to give my best.

I speak French (native) and I’m improving my English. I’m adaptable, reliable, and I enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.
