We are Mathilde (35) and David (36), a dynamic and passionate couple who are looking for new experiences and enriching encounters through volunteering.
Our skills and experience :
David is a freelance 3D graphic designer with a passion for woodworking and DIY projects. Mathilde has extensive experience in digital marketing and web design, as well as in the wine industry in France (sales, tastings, cellar visits, digital communication). David worked in a carpentry shop in Canada and Mathilde in a wine estate, a bakery and a grocery shop. We also took part in grapes harvest and did some wwoofing in exchange for accommodation.
Mathilde is currently working remotely part-time (20h/week) for a little responsible travel agency specialized in tanzanian travels.
Interests :
David loves cooking, football, coffee and DIY projects. Mathilde is passionate about responsible tourism, nature, hiking, gastronomy, oenology, wildlife and reading. She also aspires to write more. We both have a passion for photography and travel as well.
Our motivations :
We want to meet new people, learn, acquire new knowledge and skills, and practise a foreign language. We are open to different opportunities in Australia.
Our qualities :
We're good-natured, hard-working, and open-minded. We complement each other well and are rather discreet but always ready to help. We love discovery, are sensitive to ecological issues, and respect living things.
What we're looking for :
We're interested in hospitality activities, cooking, gardening and DIY, and would like the chance to get up close and personal with wild animals. And why not learn the art of a barista :)
We'd love to use our skills and energy to work on inspiring projects and enjoy unforgettable experiences as volunteers.
