Hi! I’m Mathilde, currently in the south of France, and I’m eager to reconnect with nature and explore new cultures. After completing my studies in culture and the arts, I’ve decided to embrace a more adventurous, nature-focused lifestyle. I love hiking and outdoor activities, and I’m seeking experiences that allow me to be in touch with nature, animals, and sustainable living practices. I’m particularly interested in working on farms, in gardens, or with animals (I have experience as horse rider and foster carer for cats). I’m also passionate about learning new languages, especially improving my Spanish and English. I’m looking for experiences that will help me expand my horizons and connect with kind-hearted people who share a love for nature and creativity.

I am excited to spend time outdoors, practice a slower, more sustainable lifestyle, and explore opportunities for personal growth through hands-on work and cultural exchange. I am flexible and open to working in a variety of settings, whether it’s helping with eco-projects, farming, gardening, or animal care.

I’m a creative and curious individual with a strong passion for personal growth and exploring new horizons. I recently completed my studies in Culture and the Arts, and for my final thesis, I focused on the subject of how artists can play a role in raising ecological awareness. This project deepened my understanding of the powerful impact that art can have in driving social and environmental change. It also reinforced my desire to engage more deeply with sustainability and nature in my everyday life.

As part of my studies, I also completed an internship at an eco-museum dedicated to the forest, where I had the opportunity to learn about environmental preservation, sustainable resource management, and the importance of educating people about ecology. This experience solidified my commitment to environmental advocacy and sparked my interest in hands-on projects that foster both personal and collective growth in harmony with nature.

Having grown up in the mountains, I’ve always felt a deep connection to nature, and now that I’ve completed my studies and lived in the city, I’m eager to return to a simpler, more nature-focused lifestyle. I enjoy spending time outdoors—whether it’s hiking, climbing, or simply appreciating the beauty of the natural world. I find peace in the sounds of nature: the rustle of wind in the trees, the flow of a stream, or the chirping of birds.

I’m naturally a reserved person at first, but I quickly open up once I feel comfortable. I love meeting new people from different backgrounds and cultures, and I’m always eager to engage in meaningful conversations. I believe in continuous learning—whether it’s through new experiences, acquiring new skills, or understanding different perspectives.

I’m an independent person who truly enjoys my own company, but I also love being social, meeting new people, and sharing great moments together. For me, it’s not so much about what we’re doing, but who we’re with—being surrounded by good energy makes all the difference.

I equally enjoy going out to the movies, concerts, and festivals as much as staying in for a cozy night with board games or just relaxing. I also love exploring the outdoors and going for walks to connect with nature. Whether it’s a lively gathering or a quiet moment, I’m all about finding joy in every experience.

Experience with Children: I hold a BAFA (French qualification for working with children) and have worked for several summers in summer camps and after-school programs. I enjoy being a positive role model and helping children grow while ensuring they have a fun and memorable time.

Outdoor & Manual Work: I am passionate about working outdoors and engaging in activities like gardening, landscaping, and general manual work. I’ve also gained practical experience in home maintenance, cleaning, and organizing. I’m always eager to learn new techniques and take on different tasks, especially those related to sustainable living and eco-projects.

Customer Service & Fast-Paced Environments: I have experience working in customer service, particularly in the tourism industry, where I learned to work efficiently in high-pressure, fast-paced environments. I’ve also handled cash and worked at cash registers, ensuring smooth transactions and a positive customer experience.

Creative Skills: Photography, video editing, and social media management are areas where I have both professional and personal experience. I’m passionate about documenting life through a creative lens and would love to contribute my artistic skills to any project. I also enjoy experimenting with drawing and watercolor painting in my free time.

Animal Care & Equestrian Experience: I have been riding horses for multiple years, even if I'm a little rusty now, I will love to be around horses again ! I also have experience caring for animals, particularly cats (I’ve been a foster caregiver for a cat rescue association). I would be thrilled to work in settings that involve animal care, whether on farms or in animal rescue organizations.

Languages: I am fluent in French, and I can manage in English, I understand more than I speak well for now. I also have a basic knowledge of Spanish and am actively working to improve my skills in the language.

Personal Qualities: I am a dedicated, hardworking, and detail-oriented person. When I commit to a project, I give it my full attention and effort. I’m independent but also enjoy collaborating with others in a team. I am adaptable, quick to learn new things, and always open to taking on new challenges.
