Hi, Marco here👋
I'm constantly seeking opportunities to help abroad and create human connections. My past experiences with Workaway taught me I want to use my time to help people with interesting, innovative, and sustainable projects.
I have experience and knowledge of Video Journalism, Copywriting, Content Creation, and other branches of Digital Marketing .
Among my passions are photography, video making, traveling, hiking, and reading, but also a large range of sports (especially triathlon) and outdoor activities. I ran my first marathon in 2022, and in May of 2023 I climbed Kilimanjaro ;)
I enjoy challenging myself to help the people working with me pay off the effort in every mission we do together. I speak English and Italian fluently and a bit of Spanish and German.

I'm studying International Communication, so my university course has been useful to integrate the skills needed to attend my job.
However, I am focused on developing all the skills I have which relate to Journalism. Here are some of them:

- Creative Writing (Blog/Articles)
- Content production (Video, Photo)
- Online Marketing Communication (Email/SMS, SEO, Social Media)

I've traveled through 25 countries, but I believe the experience counts more than that. The people I met are what makes me grow. I love to learn from everything and everybody, and when it's possible, be able to teach you something you didn't know. I like to cook specialties from my country and also try new ones.
My favorite book is 'Shantaram' by Gregory David Roberts, but most of the time I read non-fiction about anthropology, reportage, and politics.
I enjoy swimming, running, cycling, fitness, yoga, muay thai, and hiking.

Living in the desert can be wonderful, but at the same time really complicated.
I was really free to walk around and join all the activities in the desert camps.
