Hello there, I'm Emma. I'm a Communication science student in Italy. I'm a very curious person who loves to learn new things and explore the world.
I've already travelled with Workaway, with a friend of mine (that is why you'll see a review of this profile talking about two people). Other than that, I've had many experiences around the world! I've done study trips in England and in France; I went to Calabria for a summer camp by the sea. There, I had the opportunity to work with other young people like me in the fields of the association that hosted us and organize/participate in group activities. In my life, I worked with children, too, as a barista and at film festivals. And this is just to mention a few!
I'm really passionate about human rights and activism; I strongly believe in respecting all people and always be kind: a smile can really change someone's day and you never know what someone's going through! That is why I'd like my future hosts to be respectful, kind and open-minded, as well: if you do not share this philosophy, I don't think we could be a nice match :(.
I love connecting with nature and especially the sea: one of my biggest dreams is to live by the sea, in the future, and I'd like to know more about it! I do scuba diving during the summer and I'd love to know more about the surfing world!
I love handcrafting: I'm a very handy person, so if you like it, as well, we could do some DIY things together :). I'm quite good at cooking, as well, and I love trying new receips.
There are still plenty of things I would like to share and so little space, so why not a direct communication: you can ask me any questions and I'd be glad to answer them!

Quais são suas habilidades?

I'm really flexible with the activities I'm asked to do and I learn very quickly. I speak English fluently. Apart from English and Italian, I speak French at intermediate level.
I've already worked with the public in my life and I love being in contact with other people. I love organizing stuff, whether it'd be events or practical stuff, like warehouses.
As I mentioned before, I love DIY things and I have some knowledge of it, so I'd be glad to help with that, as well. I work with different types of materials, such as clay, wood, paper. I fix things quite easily, also in creative ways. I can change the tire of a car, too, which can always be very useful! I'm used to the sea environment and the mountain one, as well, due to the summers I've spent both at the seaside and up in the mountains.
