Hello! I am Mara from northern Germany. Right now I live for the next months in Tartu for an Erasmus-semester at the EMÜ. I study science of environmental engineering and finished my Bachelor in Rostock this summer. I am a very active person (cycling, running, hiking etc.) and love to cook and bake. In my freetime I like to be in the nature or play cards with friends.
I am in Estonia since August and already fell in love with this country. I decided, that one semester here is not enough and I want to spend more time in this country. Also during my internship in Iceland I fell in love with sheep. So my conclusion is: Why not connect being in Estonia and working with sheep (or with any other kind of farmwork).

Quais são suas habilidades?

My special skills or I am talented in: cooking, baking and knitting because I like to do this in my freetime. As part of my studies I learned how to build more stustainable and live a sustainable life. I worked for 3 years at the farmers market and know now a lot about seasonal vegetables and how to grow them. This I also practice in my garden and greenhouse. DUring my internship in Iceland I learned more about farming and sheepwork. I helped there with everything that has to do with sheep. Additionally I guided riding tours through the nature. Because of this I have experiences with the hosting of guests. Next to tourist I have also some experiences with children: I engaged as a youth leader and have a smaller sister and smaller cousins.
