Hello! I'm Malwina, a 24-year-old recent university graduate, taking a gap year to slow travel, meet new people, and experience life in different corners of the world.
Growing up in a village, I’ve always been close to nature and farm life. I love animals and have a knack for caring for them—just recently, I rehabilitated a once-terrified, aggressive rescue cat into a cuddly companion. My parents have a vegetable garden that I regularly help out with, so I’m no stranger to getting my hands dirty.
Spending time outdoors is second nature to me. Since childhood, I've gone camping every year, so I’m very comfortable living close to nature with minimal comforts. I also enjoy cycling, hiking, and yoga, and I have a special love for water, especially lakes.
I'm no architect, but I’m handy with basic tools and a paint bucket. Last year, I renovated my rental apartment on my own, and I’m proud of how it turned out. I also have a driver’s license, which comes in handy for getting around.
In the kitchen, I’ve been told I’m a good cook, and I love preparing meals with plant-based ingredients. I’m always excited to share and learn new recipes.
In terms of language, I’m a native Polish speaker, fluent in English (C1 level), and have recently started learning Spanish. I’m eager to practice and improve my language skills while traveling.
I’m available to stay for a month or two and am excited to contribute to projects, whether it’s helping out on a farm, assisting with renovations, or just being a friendly, helpful presence. I look forward to the adventures and connections that lie ahead during this gap year!
