Dear reader,
My name is Fabian, I'm 19 years old and have always enjoyed being in nature. But since I live in Berlin, getting to some of the more beautiful places takes a while.
At the moment my work mainly consists of programming tasks, which I do enjoy, but I would prefer being outside more, especially when the sun is shining.
In my free time, I sometimes draw or paint, or learn to play the piano. I also partake in a oparette class as tenor, where we practice classical choir and acting for an upcomming performance.

When I'm out alone or with friends, I enjoy anything from just taking a walk, to exercising, longboarding, or stand up paddling (and many more..)
I also love meeting new people. Both on a one time occasion, as well as on a regular basis.

In 10th grade, I went to Kelowna, Canada for 5 months. This experience has had a big impact on my way of life. since then I have often thought about traveling again, in order for me to grow, both spiritually and as a person.

I feel like now is the best time to do so. After finishing school and soon completing my voluntary year in science, I want to leave my comfort zone, and do something completely new. The idea of working on a farm was sparked by two people. My girlfriend (at the time), who invited me to join her for a day on the horse farm she was working at, and through a friend, who shared her workaway experiences of the past few months. Since then I am really looking forward to the experience of living and working on a farm for a few weeks, because even though I have never stayed on any farm so far, and only have some experience with dog care, but not with farm animals, I think I have a rough idea, of what to expect and believe, that it perfectly combines my wish to go out, being active all day, and learning about working with animals and farming.

Quais são suas habilidades?

As a native German speaker, I possess the ability to assist individuals in learning the German language.
With my involvement in hobby projects, I have developed a basic understanding of electrical systems, allowing me to handle fundamental electrical tasks. Additionally, I have acquired proficiency in soldering, particularly for electronic components.
Moreover, I possess some woodworking skills that enable me to accomplish basic tasks in this domain.
Programming, particularly with Python, is an integral part of my daily work. As a side effect, I have also developed a remarkable frustration tolerance, allowing me to persist on projects for extended periods, even when faced with challenges and setbacks, without getting frustrated.
Cooking is not just a routine but a passionate pursuit for me. I take great delight in preparing delicious meals and exploring diverse cuisines.

During my semester in Canada, while living with a host family who owned a dog, I gained valuable experience in pet care. This allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the responsibilities involved in providing attentive care, exercise, and companionship specifically to dogs.
Mindfulness is a big part of my personal growth journey. Prioritizing self-awareness and emotional balance through mindfulness practices, I approach tasks and challenges with a calm and focused mindset.
Lastly, I carry a natural sense of positivity wherever I go. With an optimistic outlook, I actively contribute in establishing an environment characterized by harmony and motivation.
