Hello! We have been a pair for the last 3 years living in the beautiful land of Devonshire. Having lived in Devon we have both grown a strong fondness for the countryside and slow lifestyle. We spend a lot of our time exploring here, their, and everywhere as well as seeing our friends and loved ones. But this year (2025) we are hoping to broaden our horizons and start exploring the world!
Hi, Im Lucas. 24 Years old and born and raised in Devon, UK. I am a multifaceted worker doing a mixture of Labouring, Administrative and Garden Work, as well as having a 4 year background in IT. I also did a brief stint of work on a small holding.
Having worked in an office based job I relish any opportunity to spend time outdoors (regardless of the weather!), meeting new people, seeing new sites and experiencing as many things as I can.
Hello, Im Dharma. 22 years old. Half English, half south African living in Devon. I've worked at a special needs school for the past 2 years. Caring for the children, cleaning, cooking and recently I became the second maintenance technician. Love how different everyday can be, from painting walls to fixing leaky roofs. Now wanting to travel and connect with new/different cultures and hopefully learn new skills.
Through workaway we are hoping to meet other open minded people and experience your way of life.
We're both bigg foodies and will try anything!

My main background of work is in IT, having worked for the water company in my area for 4 years doing a multitude of different IT based jobs. I did a brief stint of work on a small holding where i assisted in the deconstruction of an old property, the construction of a new large tin roofed barn as well as general tidying up and assistance. For the last year i have been working for a Property Development Company where i have taken on multiple roles such as completing Admin work, using CAD software for designs, labouring, property maintenance work and gardening. I am also self taught in regards to fixing mobile devices such as phones/ipads.

I've dabbled in a lot of different areas. From working in fast paced Hospitality jobs, to looking after exotic reptiles in a small, locally-owned store. Cooking, caring and maintenance for a special needs secondary school. Since working in my maintenance role I have become a key holder of the school and am responsible for completing all the compliance including fire safety.
I enjoy making a difference in people’s lives and making friendly connections.
My main passion in life is definitely animal care and wellbeing. Because of this I studied animal care for 2 years at College, gaining a Level 2 Animal care certificate for the care of both domestic and exotic species.
We are both very confident in our ability to learn new skills and lessons after seeing and having a go at it, we are also not afraid to ask questions about anything we feel we are not 100% prepared for.

Before we arrived, Graham told us his estate would remind us of our home county of Devon, and his promise did not disappoint. The peaceful scenery and cozy atmosphere made it feel like a home away from home.

We have very much enjoyed hosting Dharma and Lucas from Devon. Their help on our modest, rural, landscaped estate has been absolutely invaluable. They worked with energy and initiative. We tackled many tasks and projects, the biggest involving olive groves and our large landscaped ponds plus a 400m driveway.… read more
