Hi, I'm Lola (short from María Dolores), a 25-years-old Ayurveda Therapist student, interested in everything related to ayurveda, yoga, veganism, sustainability and nature.

Between 2017 and 2022 I studied aerospace engineering (but never finished) in Madrid (Spain) and felt so stuck in that lifestyle that, during and after the pandemic, I started to be more interested in others fields such as sports, yoga, wellness, finances and living more concious with myself and surrounded by nature.

When I dropped college in 2022 I started working in vegan restaurants (how lucky!) in Madrid and I've enjoyed it so much (although it was pretty hard too), made friends for life and had a wonderful experience working around vegan chefs and eating free vegan food almost every day :) Finally, in June 2023 I left my life in Madrid and my job as a waiter and went back to my hometown in the south-east of Spain to have some well deserved holidays by the beach.

****So, you may be asking yourself now: what is this girl goal volunteering as a workawayer?****

As I said at the beginning of my description, I'm studying and Ayurveda Therapist training and I would love to work near people who know more about this topic, as well as yoga, permaculture, DIY, sustainability, vegan and local cuisine, take care of animals, children, plants... and learn everything I can!


****And, what is even more important, what can I offer, then?****

-I absolutely loooooove cooking vegan food and experimenting in the kitchen as well as keeping it simple and cook delicious and clean food for everyone (It's, for sure, my love language)

-One thing I learned from living by myself since 2017 is to have my place and surroundings well cleaned and organized, so I Will always make sure the place I’m staying remains the same I first saw it :)

-I'm a very proactive person and love to do tasks efficiently

-I consider myself a good DIYer and I don't mind get my hands dirty

Algo mais...

On one side, when I'm near the beach, I love going kayaking, paddle surfing and sunbathing! I'm interested in learn how to surf too
On the other side, I love hiking when close to the mountains, going for walks and breathing fresh air from mother nature
And the combo of both is amaaaaaazing
