Hello my name is Livia Suter
I am from a small town in Switzerland currently living and studying in Bern. I am majoring in English literature and linguistics.

A big passion of mine is to learn and discover new things. I am sociable and open towards people, places and especially food. I like to think of myself as laid back and interested. In my free time I love to spend my time outside to read and draw and write about my experiences and explore new surroundings while jogging.

Since I study English Linguistics at University, I am interested in all kinds of languages and communication in general. The language support I could easily provide would be German and intermediate French. The teaching experience from my past substitutions would come in handy as well.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I am fluent in German (standard and swiss dialect) and English. Further languages I understand reasonably but am not proficient in are French and a little bit Italian.

I am currently studying English literature and linguistics as a major and art history and social sciences in my minors at the University of Bern. I am sociable and good at communicating with people of all kinds.

As side job I worked in a School for children with special needs as an assistant teacher. For the past 6 years I have been a manager in a bilingual (German and French) summer camp for children aged 7 to 14. The work I did there was creative and social, teaching me to stay calm and friendly even in difficult situations. At the momement I am doing assistant accounting in a little office while taking a distance learning course on basic accounting.

I visited Italy for two months to learn the language and worked in a restaurant during time discovering my love for food and cooking. I did the same in the summer of 2024 but this time in France.

I like to play board games or just enjoy relaxed talks with good company. If you have a guitar or a Ukulele around I am always down to sing along and even play a little (although I am not so good).
I enjoy the outdoors and will try any sport even if I may not be the best at them. I enjoy to go on runs to discover the area and to wind down I love to read or draw and write in my journal.
