Hi, here Levi and Aleksandra. We are moving forward from just travelling in a van to searching for our land in Romania :)
This summer we want to meet people living in Romania in the villages, off-grid homesteads, communities. In order to make friends, learn, help each other and create valuable connections that are incredibly important while moving to new country.
We hope to meet like-minded people with whom we could make friends for years not just a week of our stay :)

Levi:
Traveling with our self-converted campervan makes me happy and gives me freedome. I like to be on the move, to have new experiences and to connect with people and gather memories which i will cherish for a long time.
I am an adventure driven person who likes adrenaline sometimes :). Activities like biking, climbing, working out also make me happy and I am looking forward to trying out new ones.
I want to use this oportunity to slow down from the rat race and enjoy life's simple things , to meet like-minded people, to learn new skills and develop myself.

I will share now my story about how i met my grilfriend Aleksandra:
We met in romania and after a short period of time I got convinced that if there is only 1 person with whom i would travel, so i quit my job and went on my first ever backpacking trip for 1 and a half months . It was the most unforgettable experience in Bulgaria and Turkey to hitchike, couchsurf, wild camp... After this we moved together in Poland in 2022 for a year,then we traveled a lot around europe while working and gathering money for our next chapter of our life : vanlife.
So basically this is my story, my motivation and what fuels my happiness.

Aleksandra:

What makes me happy is spending time in the nature, walking up the mountains, swimming in the lake, sitting by the fire, dancing and singing. I want to learn from workaway's hosts about gardening, building off-grid, self-sufficient home and living in simbiosis with nature. I am really into simple living and coming back to the roots. Travelling with the Van allows me to immerse in the wild nature, gain peace of mind and become more creative. However, my true dream is to build home in the nature, a little nest for my family. I see travelling with the Van as the way to it, as a part of the process :)

In the last years I was volunteering through workaway, firstly in Portugal on eco-glamping and then building natural house for great, wild family. Then in Romania I experienced traditional vilage lifestyle with gardening in Bianca's lovely place.

Throu Workaway I learnt a lot and met amazing people from all over the world. I am very grateful for dicovering this platform once upon a time :)
