Hey, I'm Leah :)

Some of the things that are making this planet so amazing are all the different cultures with their rituals, their ways of life and their wisdom about how to live together with nature and how to learn from it. The different people living in these cultures with their knowledge, ideas, talents and experiences. The breathtaking nature with its animals and plants, the elements and the connection between everything.
Nature can be so rough, dangerous, powerful and loud and so calm, quiet and peaceful. Breathtaking. All of that is what I want to see, to feel, to experience, to learn about and to learn from!

In June 2023 I finished school in Germany and since then I've been traveling.
August to November 2023, I worked on a little organic farm in Switzerland. They've got sheep and growing and selling vegetables.
January to June 2024, I went to New Zealand and stayed at different farms. To find the first two places I stayed at I used this platform, after that I stayed with people I´ve got to know over there or with their friends. It was amazing!! I found friends, places I know I'll always can come back. I learned a lot about doing things myself, living simply and how to support and treat nature like it deserves it. I experienced their culture, their ways of life, learned about other people and a lot about myself. I felt welcomed, grounded.

For two years I worked with children aged between kindergarten and the 4th year of school.
I enjoy to learn something new and to improve my skills, to work physically, being outside and gardening feels like a kind of meditation for me.
I'm also very interested in different kinds of body work like massage, shiatsu and osteopathy.
For my future I imagine myself living an off grid life and as self-sufficient as possible, so I'm always happy to learn:)
Building, preserveing, gardening, living of the land and with the seasons, cooking, celebrating thankfulness, living in the moment...
Feeling connected in different ways means a lot to me. Taking my time to see the beauty around me.
I'm open minded and enjoy deep conversations. I like to really get to know people :)
I'm glad being able to take a step out of my comfort zone to challenge myself and develop new perspectives.

Hey mein Name ist Leander,
Ich stelle mich mal eben vor:
Ich komme aus der Nähe von Wuppertal, bin 20 Jahre alt, habe vor einem Jahr die Schule beendet und bin danach auf Abendteuer suche gegangen.
Ich habe eine Fahrradreise nach Spanien hinter mir, einen Monat permaculture - Erfahrung auf la Palma, eine spannende, emotionale Reise durchs tropische Brasilien und spirituelle und geistreiche Erlebnisse in den Bergen Perus.
Jetzt bin ich wieder Deutschland, wo ich die ersten acht Jahre meines Lebens auf einem Demeter Hof gelebt habe, anschließend mal hier, mal da, stets viel Zeit in der Natur verbringend.
Zwar bin ich weder ein ausgebildeter Handwerker, noch habe ich studiert, dennoch bringe ich ein paar DIY bastel Fähigkeiten mit, die Lebenserfahrung eines 20 jährigen und viel Interesse neues zu lernen.
Außerdem liebe ich alle Art von Bewegung!
Wandern, klettern, joggen, Fußball, Fahrradfahren, tanzen, Volleyball.. alles.
