Hi, we are Lea (29) and Erik (34) from Germany. We are a couple that used to live in Berlin for the last years. Now we decided to take a break out of the daily routine 🙂 We cancelled our jobs, quit our flat, sold all our stuff to be on a journey. In summertime we lived and worked in a hut in the Austrian alps cooking for the guests and cleaning the rooms. The days off we enjoyed hiking and being in pure nature. Now we are on our way to Turkey - planing to get a flight to Uganda. We´ve been hitchhiking through Italy, spent some wonderful time at lonely beaches and mountains in Albania.
At the places we are we like to become part of something. It is our experience, that this makes us feel more connected to the places we visit and is a big chance to get to know areas, cultures, languages and different point of views.
We are spontaneous and open to almost every kind of work and looking forward to help and understand each other.

Quais são suas habilidades?

Erik starts:
I studied political science and worked the last years for political organizations as a manager for public relations and social media. So I can be very helpful for boosting your social-media-performance and make you more visible.
Before that I spend some years teaching young adults about democratic principles, human rights and climate change. So I love to discuss and elaborate problems of our society from different angles. Once I was in Ethiopia for two months I was used to teach young children in elementary school, like Englisch and German language or mathematic, biological or geographic basics. I was also used to be a passioned soccer-coach for young children for a few years. So I really like to lead and interact with youth-groups.
But I also did a lot of different other jobs: waitress, barkeeper, cleaner, driver, harvester, beekeeper, chef-assistant and many more.
I likes to work well structured and am very ambitioned while working. I also like physical tasks and have good condition for hard work.

And Lea:
I´ve been working as a social worker the last 2 years. Spending time with people and getting to know different understanding of living is important for me. In the past years I´ve been working with people with mental disease, young adults and kids. I´ve been supporting people to get access to their needs.
Besides my "job" I like to do photography and am into gardening in a small piece of land in the countryside near Berlin.
