Hello! I’m Laurena, an agricultural bio-engineer from Belgium specialized in plant production. 🌱

I have practical experience with different crops (strawberries in France, bananas in the Caribbean, technical advice to farmers in Belgium) and I’m passionate about sustainable farming and tropical agriculture. I enjoy sharing knowledge as much as learning from others.

Outside of work, I am passionate about trail running, which helps me connect with nature and new environments. I also love discovering new cultures, meeting people from different backgrounds, and contributing to meaningful projects.

Through Workaway, I hope to support local communities, strengthen my skills in tropical agriculture and ecotourism, and exchange knowledge while living authentic experiences.

🌱 Agronomy & gardening: background as an agricultural bio-engineer with hands-on experience in plant production (fruits, vegetables, tropical crops). I enjoy working outdoors, taking care of plants, and learning new farming methods.

👥 Group animation & teamwork: experienced in guiding small teams and leading training sessions; I like creating a good atmosphere, sharing knowledge, and working together towards a common goal.

🏃 Trail running & outdoor activities: passionate about running and cycling, with good endurance and energy for physical tasks. Always happy to explore nature and help with outdoor projects.
