Hey all you lovely people out there :)
I'm Laura, my favourite hobby is being outside in the sun (hiking, beachvolleyball). I also love to work with animals, like dog-sitting and work with horses (did that from age 6-18).
I studied psychology and will start a new job next year. Right now I am working as a social worker with refugees. As both are amazing, but quite demanding jobs, I decided to take a 4 month break in autumn 2024. Let's see where it takes me :)

Quais são suas habilidades?
- social: finished my Psychology master in 2022, worked as a social worker (bureaucracy, lots of organizing of events)
- children: internship at clinic for children and an early intervention center, cared for friends' children
- animals: dog-sitting, riding for 3 years (English) and 8 years (natural horsemanship)
- farmwork: volunteered at a wildlife sanctuary for 2 months (feeding, cleaning, some farmwork)
- languages: German (first language), English (C2), Spanish (B2 with some practical experience), French (B1), Ukrainian (A1)

Yes, the work is demanding (cleaning, walking the dogs different other tasks), but not too much. The more you get to know the dogs, the more you look forward going to "work". All the dogs are lovely! I think it's worth it to educate yourself on basic principles of dog behaviour, it will be worth it!
