Hi! I’m from Guangzhou, China, where I run Luxlucent, a brand that develops early learning materials for children and supports parents and teachers. My work includes creating picture cards, language activities, and simple maths materials, mainly for children aged 3–8. I care about making learning materials useful and easy to use.

I enjoy travelling, meeting people from different backgrounds, and learning through new experiences. I have travelled independently and climbed Mount Kilimanjaro. These experiences have taught me patience, preparation, and persistence.

Through Workaway, I would like to learn from local teachers and communities while offering practical help. Depending on what your project needs, I could help prepare and organise learning materials, create simple visual resources, and assist with games or small-group activities under the guidance of local teachers or staff.

I don’t have formal classroom teaching experience, and my English is still improving. I’m happy to prepare in advance, follow clear instructions, ask questions when needed, and learn from feedback.

I’m learning English and would like to become more confident in everyday conversations. I enjoy learning through cultural exchanges and am happy to ask questions and learn from feedback. I speak Chinese and would be happy to help others practise everyday words and phrases, as well as share aspects of Chinese culture. I’m also interested in learning a few basic words and greetings in the local language wherever I travel.

Quais são suas habilidades?

My main experience is in developing early learning materials through my work with Luxlucent. I work on picture cards, matching activities, and basic language and maths resources for young children.

I can help prepare and organise learning materials, create simple visual resources, and support activities such as picture matching or counting games under local teachers’ guidance. I’m happy to adapt my help to the materials available and the needs of the project.

Running my own brand has also given me experience in planning tasks, organising information, and coordinating work. I use digital tools for research and preparing documents, and could help with basic administrative tasks.

I speak Chinese and would be happy to share basic Chinese words and aspects of Chinese culture through informal exchanges. My English is still improving, so clear instructions are helpful.

I don’t have formal classroom teaching experience. I would like to support local teachers and staff, follow their guidance, and learn from their feedback. I’m also willing to learn new practical tasks.
