Hello, I’m Larisa!

I was born in Argentina, and since 2016 I’ve been living between Italy and the UK. Traveling has always enriched my life—not as a constant lifestyle, but as a meaningful way to connect with people, cultures, and different ways of living. Workaway has been an important part of that journey, giving me the opportunity to share my skills, learn from others, and grow through genuine cultural exchange.

I’m a qualified Interpreter and Translator, an English and Spanish language teacher, and an Ayurveda therapist and educator. For more than a decade, I’ve specialized in translating and interpreting for Ayurveda courses and seminars, while also teaching languages and Ayurveda to students from different backgrounds. I worked as a Community Interpreter in the UK, helping people communicate in healthcare, social services, and public institutions.

Over the years, I’ve also trained in cooking, photography, and reflexology. Cooking remains one of my greatest passions. I’ve also worked as part of a professional kitchen staff, where I learned the importance of teamwork, organization, efficiency, and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment. I enjoy sharing healthy recipes and adapting to different dietary preferences whenever needed.

At 53, I bring not only curiosity and adaptability, but also reliability, maturity, and a wealth of life experience. I’m practical, resourceful, and happy to roll up my sleeves whenever there’s work to be done. I’ve volunteered in Argentina and abroad, always finding satisfaction in contributing wherever I can and becoming part of the community around me.
