Hi There!/Oi!/Hola

I'm Kevin. I'm 28 years old and from Dublin, Ireland. I love visiting countires for long periods to really soak up the culture and language. I want to see what the country has to offer and also learn more about how the locals live and interact with them. Workaway seems like a great place to be able to do this!

I am a hard worker especially when I believe and love the project that I am working on. I have worked on film sets, in bars and restaurants and at music gigs and events. I can provide some very positive references if you would like. I love meeting new people working with others on a common goal. I also definitely value my downtime to myself. I am creative and like collaborating with others on cool projects. I cherish engaging conversations and opening up to others, being genuine.
I also love pets so I will be hoping my host will have some!

I love the arts and being creative it is all I can imagine myself doing. Here are some of my hobbies:
Studied filming and made some short films
Was an aerial acrobat instructor (I Love rope and Trapeze)
Musician (Guitar, Piano, Sing, Cello) and songwriter (I also write songs in Portuguese!)
I also love reading , dance, acting, trying to paint, playing football and tennis, hiking, cycling, and travelling.

I like to try new things and if I like them, get really good at them. Currently I am focusing the most on being a singer-songwriter. I want to inspired by different cultures and people and their music and styles and to develop myself as an artist. I want to develop new skills too and hopefully there will be some unexpected things that really help me grow as a person.

I want to go to Portugal specifically to improve My Portuguese (Nearly Fluent) and learn more about the country firsthand. It is a beautiful language and Portugal has some much Music and art to offer that I know will inspire me.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have A Bachelors Degree in Filmmaking and TV. So I am very good behind the camera and can come up with creative ideas. I can also edit short videos together too.
I am currently studying a Music Performance Degree. I play multiple instruments so can help you learn one or inspire you to play some of your own music.
I have over three years experience working in bars and restaurants, So am great with working with others. I also very friendly with customers too.

I am a native English speaker and have a Tefl degree and would to help you improve your English.
I am nearly fluent in Portuguese and hope going there would really improve this.
Beginner level Spanish.

I have looked after dogs before in their owners homes (can provide references). I walked, feed and gave them lots of cuddles]
