Hello,

My name is Kerstin, I'm 36 years old and originally from Germany.

I have been living and working on the small Isle of Iona on the Scottish west coast for the last 7 years.

Earlier this year I left the island to focus more on my passion for dhamma (teachings of the Buddha). I teach mindfulness and meditation in person and online and have spent extended times in retreat this year, volunteering at a buddhist retreat centre in the foothills of the german alps.

I've done plenty of Workaway in several different places in Iceland and the UK around 10 years ago (and loved it) and have worked as an organic gardener for several years on the Isle of Iona, producing the vegetables for their kitchen. I also have a RHS (Royal Horticultural Society) Level 2 certification in gardening.

I am an outdoor enthusiast and spent as much time in nature as I can.

I love trying new things, cooking vegetarian food, meditation, silence, travelling, reading and good conversations.
