Hello,

My name is Kerstin, I'm 35 years old and originally from Germany. I have been living and working on the small Isle of Iona on the Scottish west coast for the last 7 years.

I've done plenty of Workaway around 10 years ago (and loved it) and have worked as an organic gardener for several years here on the island, managing a vegetable garden for a small hotel.

I currently work in a small shop which sells hand made jewellery.

I am a lover of Buddhism and teach mindfulness and meditation online and in person.

I am an outdoor enthusiast, which is why I live on a remote island!

I love trying new things, cooking vegetarian food, travelling, and having meaningful conversations.

I had a really lovely time with the Mitchells. They are a fun, welcoming, inspiring family who have created something really special. I felt immediately at ease with all members of the family (including 4-legged ones) and all of them are really interesting people to talk to.

Very nice hosts, the best landscape you can wish for, varied and never boring work, surrounding for great walks,stunning beaches. Definitely highly recommended!
