Hello,
we are Katharina and Ludwig from Germany and we want to use our parental leave for traveling around Europe with our tow children (6 and 3 years). To get in touch with different people and cultures, we like to try out the combination of working an traveling. We also think that it is good for our Kids to stay in different places for a while, instead of being on the road all the time. Working and travelling with a children means of course, that we are not able to provide that us adulds can work at the same time, but You can be sure, that we will support Your projects as good as possible.

We are traveling with our car so we are pretty flexible concerning mobility. We both like to be outside, wether it is hiking, climbing or canoeing. Katharina is playing the guitar und loves to make music. She work as a teacher for math and geografie. Ludwig has a degree in Religious Education and Social Welfare, in experimental pedagogy and in several coaching and training approaches (p.e. outward-bound trainings, social panorama consultancy, coaching and training with NLP, systemic consultancy).

We would be very happy, to meet up with You and support You and Your projects with our skills.

Katherina is studying to become a teacher.
Ludwig has several degrees as paedagogue, coach and trainer.

We both are pretty experienced in outdoor activities like climbing, canoeing, hiking and so on. Ludwig even is an educated climbing and canoeing instructor.

Furthermore we have some decent skills in gardening, woodworking and housekeeping.

We had a great experience with Katharina and Ludwig, as well as their little boy. They were both hard workers and worked beyond our expectations, very precise and always looking for new things to do. I can highly recommend them to any host. Thank you.

We had a wonderful time at the farm of Malene and Zac. Our tasks were cleaning and painting the windows, some house work and some help with weeding in the Garten. We always ate with the family. The food was really fine. We often ate potatoes, salat and strawberry from the garden and milk from the neighbors farm.

It was our first time at a real farm, with a real lot of tasks to do. We could often choose what we wanted to do. We fed the ducks, cleaned the horses and went on a walk with the dog. We also planted vegetables and restored parts of the barn.
We learned a lot about farmworking in general and about old techniques of it in special.

Thanks for all your help at our farm! Started off with hard work with taking the hay and continued with the garden work and some high heights projects at the barn. Little Janosch was a sunshine most of the time and made us smile :)

Our time at this place was more then excellent. It was our first workaway experience and it was a wonderful one. We worked with the wood of the almond trees.
