Hi, I’m Kat!
I’m a 31-year-old Australian currently exploring Europe. Over the past decade, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to travel and work in different countries while also discovering hidden gems across Australia. I’m passionate about the outdoors—whether it’s hiking through the mountains, swimming in the ocean, or watching a quiet sunrise with a coffee in hand.

In my free time, I love visiting local food markets, cooking, trying new restaurants, climbing mountains, going to the gym, or relaxing at the beach. I’m always up for connecting with others, sharing stories, and learning about different cultures and ways of life.

Most recently, I’ve been volunteering at a yoga retreat, where I help manage the bar area and assist with general operations as part of a small, close-knit team. I’ve really enjoyed the variety of tasks, the team spirit, and the peaceful atmosphere of the retreat environment.

My volunteering experience also includes helping at hostels (guest engagement, cleaning, basic maintenance), pet sitting, au-pairing, farm work, and gardening. These opportunities have deepened my appreciation for sustainable living, animals, and being in tune with nature.

I also have experience working with children, including youth with disabilities. I’ve supported children with various physical and emotional needs, creating safe, engaging spaces that encourage development and confidence. For the past three years, I’ve lived with a newborn (now toddler), caring for her daily and supporting her early growth. This has strengthened my skills in patience, empathy, and responsibility—qualities I carry into everything I do.

I pride myself on being adaptable, kind, and hardworking. I love stepping into new environments, giving everything a go, and contributing wherever I can. I’m looking forward to continuing this journey, meeting inspiring people, and learning along the way!

With my previous work in hospitality and as a support worker I have developed a passionate and patient approach to helping others. I also have experience working (and living) with kids, insuring their safety while creating a fun, nurturing and educational environment. I love animals and will never turn down a opportunity to pat a dog.
I love to cook and take pride in creating delicious and healthy dishes tailored to different taste and dietary needs. I eat a pescatarian diet myself although I am happy to cook meat for others.

Additionally, I enjoy crafts and engaging in hands-on creative projects. I’m enthusiastic about learning new things and adapting to different environments.
