Hello hello! :)

My name is Karolína, I'm in my mid-twenties, and my hometown is in the Beskydy Mountains in Czechia, which is the reason I love hiking (especially with a company of my dog Ája). In 2025, I moved to the Czech capital, Prague, where I worked for a year at Charles University.

Currently, I'm taking a gap year to broaden my perspective on life, explore different cultures, and learn from new experiences. That also means that I work part-time remotely with a flexible schedule as a coach and psychologist. It also means I have plenty of time to help hosts with whatever is needed. In my free time.

I enjoy exploring different cultures, going on hikes and walks, and trying local food and coffee. I am also into spending time outdoors and taking care of animals. I'm more of a dog person (probably because I grew up with dogs), but I love all animals and can care for them with lots of love, cats included. :) I also enjoy baking, cooking simple meals, and learning new skills such as DIY and practical handyman skills, so that one day I can renovate my own cottage. :)

I'm also interested in learning more about eco-projects and community living. One of the main reasons for my travels is the desire to meet new people, discover different perspectives on life, and learn something new about myself and the people around me.

My favorite time is the time I spend with my niece, who is almost three years old. I absolutely love kids' energy, their joy for life, and their ability to live in the present moment. :)

During high school and university, I used to volunteer, and I would love to continue doing that because it introduced me to some of the best people I've ever met, people with their hearts in the right place. It also gave me a sense of purpose and connection. I think it's a wonderful way to meet people who share similar values and interests.

Looking forward to meeting you, learning about your culture, traditions, inspirations, and language. I'd also love to learn some Spanish ( I am really a beginner, but trying to speak un poco! 😊).

I’m always happy to help wherever I’m needed and enjoy learning new skills along the way.

I love baking and would be delighted to prepare homemade cakes, desserts, or other treats for the household.

I’m also comfortable with everyday cleaning and keeping shared spaces tidy, and I’m happy to help with gardening and other outdoor tasks. I am a quick learner, so if you show me the way to do that, happy to follow.

I also love dogs and enjoy taking them for long walks, playing with them, and making sure they get plenty of exercise and attention. I can also take care of other animals - feeding and petting included:).

Professionally, I'm a psychologist, which means I'm people-oriented and genuinely interested in others. If there's anything related to working with people, communication, wellbeing, or social projects, I'd be happy to help where I can.

In my free time, I enjoy staying active. I love hiking, playing volleyball, and spending time outdoors. I’m reliable, adaptable, and genuinely enjoy contributing to a welcoming home while getting to know the local culture and the people around me.
