Hello, Hola, Ahoj!
we are a couple originally from the Czech Republic that started to travel full-time in October 2022 - we plan to travel through Europe as long as we enjoy it, and the plan for 2023 is to discover Spain & Portugal and all the islands. (we travel by car and are both drivers)

We are open-minded, eager to learn new skills, energetic (but easygoing!), meet new people, and exchange good vibes with everyone we are lucky enough to meet on our journey of discovery and self-love.

We travel through a mixture of house/pet sitting and workaway retreats, which makes the perfect mix for us.

Our main inspiration for workaway is to help people out and experience other realities :)

We are both fluent in English and Czech (our native language) - we would be very happy to let you practice English or teach you a few Czech words. In Spanish we are both beginners but learning, so we welcome any opportunity to practice :)

Quais são suas habilidades?

My favorite activities:
* I enjoy reading, exercising, learning about new things, and picking up new skills
* Always down to talk about any topic in-depth.
* Love to figure out ways to make things more efficient, brainstorm and test new ideas, and research anything I find interesting at the moment.
* Cold water exposure, meditation.
* Good listener and if people ask me for help I am always happy to help or try to find the
best solution for any situation. :)
* Being/taking care of animals, especially cats.

My Skills:
* Out-of-the-box thinking - if there is any need to find an unusual/efficient solution to a problem, I love delving in until I find something. (I can follow instructions to the letter though)
* I used to make extra money as a content writer and editor for a news blog - I can proofread or help to write any content for websites etc.
* In my past life I used to be an IT technician - any IT problems I can troubleshoot/help with. Also very good at googling any obscure issues.
* I am formally educated in programming/databases, so any simple tasks with websites/custom programs I can help with.
*On our travels I have been praised by native speakers for my level of English, so I am slowly starting to believe it.
* Got experience as a "summer camp" instructor for kids aged 6-12
* Used to play online poker on a professional level
* Investing, financial planning, budgeting, anything finance related.

My favorite activities are:
* Singing, dancing, drawing, any type of DIY activities
* I like to listen to people and give them my full attention.
* I am working with Osho tarot cards for a long time and I am also interested in other types of card reading.
* I also started to produce my music. :)

My Skills:
* cleaning - back in the Czech Republic I used to clean & tidy people's houses on their schedule, so plenty of experience even with cleaning big windows or long-forgotten dirt. :)
(this is truly relaxing for me and to deep clean or help get rid of old things makes me happy)
* Therapeutic skills - a great listener with a positive mood, eager to help.
* I used to babysit and tried to work as an assistant teacher in a primary school for a while - so working with children is not a problem at all.
* Also got experience as a "summer camp" instructor for kids aged 6-12

We believe the biggest skills for both of us are:
1) hardworking (we realize workaway is not a vacation or a "cheap" accommodation) - energetic with a happy mood and eager attitude.
2) our eagerness to learn and understand new skills - that's a big reason why we do workaways.
3) Our adaptability to any environment - we have lived in an off-grid house = with rainwater, a dry outside toilet, solar panels, permaculture garden and we LOVED it.

Oh, and we are both hobby gardeners!

We can provide references on other websites from people that let us do a house-sit or pet sit for them. Can always provide those references if someone is interested, as we do not have that many here now.

We are open to meeting new people, so do not hesitate to contact us even for no reason at all, or to ask any question :)

We would love to eventually do a longer workaway 1-2 months, maybe this May/June, to truly be a part of a project :)
