**Update: I'm travelling to Guatemala Feb 23, 2026 for 2 months (with my cousin) and we are looking for a work away on Lake Atitlan. Preferably for the duration of the 2 months. Looking to immerse myself in a community that is involved in practises such as yoga, meditation, art, connection to oneself and nature.

Hi I'm Kaitlyn from Canada! I'm a big outdoors girl who enjoys hiking, camping, surfing, swimming in waterfalls... you name it, I'm here for the adventure. I love meeting and connecting with people from all backgrounds and experiencing new cultures. I practise yoga and breathwork daily and live a healthy lifestyle.

I have extensive experience in the hospitality industry including roles as a bartender, barista, food server, kitchen hand and housekeeper. My previous work exchange in Australia was at a yoga retreat space where I worked and lived for 8 months (absolutely amazing experience!). Within the yoga centre I was responsible for tasks such as checking guests in, cleaning rooms and common areas, prepping and cooking food alongside the head chef in the kitchen.

Throughout the years I've had the chance to teach/support children of all grades and have experience teaching English in Indonesia.

Anything creative is up my alley. I’m an artist with a small business selling my macrame and jewelry. I love photography - have dug out my film camera and took it around travelling Australia and Asia last year. Shooting on film had brought back this creative side of me I haven’t seen in awhile. Excited to meet more creatives to do fun collabs.

My dream is to learn how to sail and live on a boat for a chapter of my life. Hoping to be in this chapter in the new year (2026)… if you have a boat and are looking for any sort of exchange, let’s talk! ⛵️🙋🏼‍♀️

I love to cook, and for others too. Wish I could put enjoying good coffee in nature on my resume because I’m really good at it. 😂
I also loooove to dance. I think any sort of movement is so powerful in many ways.

Pottery - want to get my hands dirty in clay
Fire dancing - tried once in Indonesia and I was hooked!
Climbing - would love to get into rock climbing

I'm more than happy to contribute to anything creative, any art projects. I am an expertise in macrame and I am happy to share my skills and teach workshops. I am skilled in photography and social media marketing.

I have years of experience working with children of all ages in schools and daycares. As well as jib experience in hospitality; bartending, waitress, kitchenhand and housekeeping.
