Hello out there,
I'm Louisa, I'm 25 years old and I'm currently taking some time until April 2024 to break out of my everyday life and routines to travel around, meet new people, get to know new and inspiring forms of life and maybe learn one or two things about myself too.
I am a psychologist and currently I'm in training to becoming a psychotherapist for children and adolescents. I'm always curious and very open minded when meeting new people. In my free time I love to spend times at the lake or hiking, dancing, acrobatic, art-stuff (painting, sewing, etc) reading, good music/concerts or cultural events (theater, political stuff, good movies, poetry slams, etc.)
Through Workaway I have already been able to get to know two super precious places in Portugal and Switzerland. That's why I feel like getting to know even more projects over the summer. I am very interested in alternative ways of living, am very open to new things and usually find my way around new groups quickly and independently. In addition, I am very open to different kind of tasks and like to help with anything that comes up.

Quais são suas habilidades?

After finishing school I spend a year abroad doing a voluntary year in Chile, South America. There I worked at a children's home and worked with children (age 2 - 18), helping with daily chores, cooking, organizing events or just being there to play and talk to. I really enjoy working with children and in general social work with people. Over the last years I studied psychology in Germany and now I'm training to be a psychotherapist for children and adolescents. I'm a very empathetic person and I always try to communicate in a kind but honest way with the people around me. I am always curious about the people around me and easily find my way into new groups.
Furthermore I love being creative, so crafty stuff (working with wood, fabric, painting, making jewellery) is fun to me. I am a fast learner who is easily fascinated my new things, so with some instructions I could work in a lot of fields i guess!
I've had my drivers license since 2016, so if needed I am a good and secure driver.
