From the end of October to mid-January, I'll be embarking on an exciting journey to Australia and New Zealand. Currently based in the beautifull city of Groningen in the Netherlands, I'm a 26-year-old high school theatre/culture teacher with a passion for education and talent development. And also just for working with all types of children, I still learn so much from their way of imagionation skills. (Especially for younger children ;))

Besides being a high school teacher I love to do yoga, dedicating myself to the practice about two times a week. The tranquility of yoga provides a clear mind and I love to learn more about it. I'm also a tennis enthusiast, I just started for two years now but I enjoy it very much (I am not that good though but I am getting better at it).
In the weekend I like to meet up with friends, going to culture events, doing sports or hitting the dancefloor.
In Australia I would also like to improve my surfing skills, I only surfed once in Vietnam last year but I would love to learn all about it.

Besides travelling to Australia I already did some traveling to America, Surinam, Peru, Aruba, Mexico, Vietnam, Cambodia and a lot of country's in Europe. I never did a WorkAway before but it sounds the best. I imagine to be a little part of the household for a few days/weeks where I can experience the way different people are living. Which is the most intresting part because I love to experience different kinds of households and I love to help you out in your daily life. I think I am quite easy to get along. I think I am an extravert introvert because I get energy from being around people and I am not affraid to get my hands dirty but I can also really enjoy the quiteness and do some yoga, meditation or just watch a movie or so.

I'm here on WorkAway to blend my passion for travel, culture, and education. Quais são suas habilidades?

Clothing Store Associate (Age 15-17): During my teenage years, I honed my attention to detail while working at a clothing store. My responsibilities included creating size labels for clothing items, ensuring precision and accuracy in every label.

Furniture Store Assistant (During Studies): During my education, I worked at a furniture store of my aunt and uncle, gaining valuable experience in customer service, cleaning, inventory management and helping with placing all kinds of furniture in difference places in the store. So you can imagine I am kinda strong so I can help you redecorating your house if you would like ;)

Theater/culture Teacher and mentor at High School: After completing my studies, I imidiatly became a theater teacher at a high school. This role allowed me to share my passion for drama, creativity, and storytelling with students. I organize and directed plays, helping students build confidence and artistic expression.


Besides my work experience I have a passion for working with children and I am the biggest fan of animals. Ever since I was a kid i would love to go to the Zoo or the petting Zoo just to see the animals. Unfortunatly i don't have pets myself because I work a lot during the week but I would love to help you taking care of them.
Besides that I love to be outdoors, I would love to help with gardening and maybe learn some new skills to restyle my little balcony in my apartment in the beautifull city of Groningen.
