Dear hosts and workawayer,

my name is Josephine.
I am a very curious and open person.
Mostly motivated by new choices and improvisation. I just plunge headlong into and shake things up a bit.

For my satisfaction I need to move my body in runnings, cyclings, swimming and walking long distances. I also like to explore more kinds of sports and physical exercises.
I need meditation, especially in the early morning after sunset. I need to create/eat good food, write, sing or make improv music.
I am also keen on fixing stuff. Recently a recovered my bycicle seat.

I studied environmental engineering and was working for almost twenty years in different jobs ( lab work in science, management in IT-projects, thai massage, gas trading, bakery), did further education in massage, trading, data security. I did volunteering for apprentices and disabled, shared food for homeless people, was an education vize president at a rhetorical club (Toastmasters) and tried to find a way as an artist.

Why I joined workaway?

That will be my first experiences I make in volunteering and working abroad.
I want to improve my english and learn a new language. Furthermore I am interested in others countrys values and habits, learning something practical and share my knowledge with others.
I can teach German or other stuff I get keen on and help with everything in household, gardening, maintenance, DIY projects, farming, computer.

Since a while I am travelling and it frees me and brings me a lot of excitement, ease and happiness.

I did about one year of improvisation in music and theatre. With the piano, small music instruments and in three small theatre schools.
So see what happens if one does nothing, sinks into the body and situation impressed me a lot and really changed the way I experience my life.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I am an expert in improvisation.
I love to try things than rather making a plan.

What I remember most are:
- sharing of food and talking to homeless people
- halfmarathons run with my partner and friends
- hiking in Bali with a foreign group on the top of Mt. Rinjani (3.726 m)
- a cigarette recycling me and my colleagues did (I helped them with that, I am not a smoker)
- enjoyed to help my brother and his girlfriend withe the thai massage I learned at an thai massage school
- loved to put linux on my pc
- enjoyed improvising on the piano and drum with friends in a small bar in Berlin
- was happy by repairing and cleaning a coffee maschine with a colleague
- was a foto modell and enjoyed the likes on instagram
- spontanously joined a family party in Georgia
- got appreciation for my healthy newsletters in a company
- brought me happiness to coach (did business coaching educatio) my colleagues in another company
- was impressed when a former ill woman got a new job and three apprentices went on with their life with me coaching them
- loved to cook georgian recepies for friends after being back from Georgia
- enjoyed to search for IT-mistakes with colleagues in the late hours while night shift

I really love to experince new things and diving deeper while repeating.
